Some Universities in England and wales are calling for tuition fees to rise to up to £24,000,They are claiming that the "low" tuition fees that are currently paid makes it difficult to run some courses.
However every time tuition fees have risen most universities across England and Wales have raised their tuition fees to the max for all courses.
Do we need to have a talk about the place tertiary education should hold within our society? |

"Who decides the cost of tuition fees, the Government or Universities?"
The government places a cap on tuition fees and then the Universities chose up to that cap.Thats the argument the universities are using that all courses wouldn't be raised to the new cap
However both times tuition fees were raised Universities immediately raised fees right up to the cap. |
