"Simple question, does Richie Rish have it right about the economy and not cutting taxes? Is he better than Truss on the economy? If there is such a thing as being better?" Ok I think tax cuts would only lead to spending cuts which will hurt the most vulnerable the most. I still don't think I could bring myself to use a positive descriptor for either of them (in general but especially on the economy).

"Sunak seems to be more focused on will the next ellection than anything else because thats all he seems to say. the focus should be now not in 2024 " It should but the PM and the chancellor are on holiday and the whole issue is in limbo with the election of a new PM.. It's a bit of a mess, CBI are saying waiting till after September 5th is too late.. Suppose it gives Truss more time to pile the blame on Andrew Bailey..
"Sunak seems to be more focused on will the next ellection than anything else because thats all he seems to say. the focus should be now not in 2024 " Why should it? Their only aim is to remain in power and to redirect as much public cash to themselves and their pals as possible.

" Sorry but I don’t agree with the money to pals ect it’s just that bigger businesses seem to be mostly Tory as you would expect. It’s easy to see it that way and of corse you are entitled to your views But I do agree that we as a country should be telling these global utility companies to do one and run things as a country not paying foreign owned companies but we would probably have to shoot all the lawyers first though

But they do. I don't see any evidence that the government gives two shits about anything except staying in power. Part of that agenda is to keep their donors happy and rich. Sure they throw the odd token bone out to the British public. But that's purely for PR and to make sure they get reelected. It works really well for them, they get barely any scrutiny, at least nowhere near what they should. So why would they bother tacking any of the issues we're facing right now. It's not in their interest to.

But if inflation is still sky high it doesn't matter. Voters will always vote against the incumbants when the world is shit. So you need to vote for a PM who is focusing on today's issues. And that's him*. (*His view)

Asked them questions surround issues that matter to them? Only a handful I bet. Remember when the slob was in power, the amount of letters to MP’s skyrocketed. Remember a gentle reminder of who MP’s actually work for never goes amiss. If you’re happy or unhappy about the way things are a letter explaining it will probably give them the impetus to act on your behalf.
