"Well, if nothing else, he has succeeded in his desire to be a memorable PM. I might live long enough to see him become a GCSE exam question. Of course, he will earn a fortune when he does go. He's just got the awkward phase where he's technically homeless for a bit (I think Carrie still has her flat)." The fact he will end up rich does stick in the throat. But the priority now is to remove the guy who's always dragging this country lower.

You just couldn't make this stuff up, if you tried it as the storyline for a political comedy the script would get rejected for being just too unbelievable." The other thing you couldn't make up is we are in a position where by this time tomorrow we could have no Prime Minister As he has dissolved Parliament and no leader of the opposition. "Boris has fired Michael Gove I didn’t see this coming.. I thought they would resign on mass.. I am guessing this is where Johnson will start taking his revenge " It could backfire, if they think they will be sacked by Boris then resignation at least gives them the opportunity to say why.. After being sacked it will be spun as sour grapes.. It's the death throes whatever way it goes.. Chief whip and home sec next?

"There is a scenario in which the 1922 could remove him as party leader but he could still remain pm!! Also if the 1922 don’t remove him I wonder if labour will call a no confidence vote " The latter won't happen, it's akin to one football team standing in their half as the opposition have a full on fist fight and offering the ref the possible resolution of a penalty shoot out as a way of sorting things.. Fuck it let them sort it, in this case the Tory party chose Boris fully knowing he was a liar with the morals and integrity of an alley cat whose only interest is his own ego and self advancement.. " I think there were many people who tried to stop him getting elected during his rise to power, so don’t bunch everyone together in one place. The slobs rise to power is more reminiscent of Hitler than Churchill. Everyday he still is in power, the country loses. I genuinely hope this brush with demagoguery will make us think about the people we elect to lead this country and be more interested in our democracy.
