No, he said he would resign if “fined”, knowing that Durham police have a policy of not issuing them retrospectively - a true lawyer’s kop out plea. Durham plod can brand him guilty as sin and he will weazle out of taking responsibility for breaking the rules, lying continually about it, then pointing the finger at everyone else and demanding they resign for just being sent a questionnaire while not doing the same himself. He knows full well his Labour PCC will be piling on the pressure on the Chief Constable to “move on”.
I would find it hard to get excited about given all of the real problems that need dealing with where it not for Starmer’s absolute tank hypocracy. |
