The bit of the Sue Gray report which was released said "the excessive consumption of alcohol is not acceptable in a public workplace". There were always Wineday Fridays.

Have you considered any of these arguments.

1. Starmer had a beer.

2. Corbyn.

3. It's the EUs fault.

Checkmate.

Define most? Some are, some aren’t. In whitehall (rather than nationwide) and particularly in the Cabinet Office and No.10 there is a distinct “sort” who work there. Most are very nicely spoken and went to the right schools.

Incidentally, everyone is assuming fines for Civil Servants and Politicians but ignoring the growing number of SpAds working in central Govt. ie political appointees. So in this case, right wingers.

Yes! Back in the day your teachers used to force you to write with your right hand - right is right, left is wrong

Very odd if you think about it as most teachers are also lefties

do they get some sort of prize if they rack up a certain number of fines? Certainly feels like they're going for it...

Is there another organisation with anything like a hundred fines ?

I’m thinking we have finally found this governments record breaking one and only skill.

It could be described as their best party piece so to speak!

The Daily Mirror today says Downing Street is "by a country mile" the most lawbreaking address and workplace in the country

It must be. The police would have shut down any other location failing to adhere to the rules on such an obscene scale.

It all sadly reflects the culture of chaos and work avoidance running through the government.

The country is in a state and they are just having a good time. Even without the Covid element what a disgraceful shambles No10 has become.
