Does Boris know his days as PM are numbered?, word on the street is that another FIxed Penalty Notice is about to drop.
Seems the gears are turning and the search for the next PM is on.
If anyone thinks this going to be pretty, it will not. |

If we were to give out fixed penalty notices to everyone who broke lockdown rules , we would have to ticket most members of the public . There were about 15 MPs listed in the press yesterday who broke lockdown rules. It seems odd that people only care about Boris but will turn a blind eye to every other rule maker. |

Man famous for telling lies, is suddenly to be believed? Lolz. Why is he now telling the truth, when previously he's lied to the public, the queen, parliament?

Why is it good to you that Conservative voters don't give a fuck that the PM is a lying sack of shit? |

I find it alarming that the police have declined to issue any more fines till after the may elections . Have the govt told them to press pause as not to cause more damage to the party’s credibility ? |

There was a war fortunately timed to distract from round one of party gate.
They hoped it had gone away.
Apparently people still care.
They said that they would be deporting people to Rwanda.
Apparently people still care.
BoJo takes a trip to India and promises a trade deal... tomorrow.
Apparently people still care.
The UK plans, apparently, to unilaterally walk away from the Northern Ireland protocol, again.
Apparently people still care.
Is it for the people or is it for MPs?
What other distraction is left? |

I disagree, it is working. Look at all the Tory supporting press, and the Tories on here. They do not care at all. The usual excuses and distractions keep getting rolled out.
A. The EU
B. Immigrants
C. Corbyn |

I didn't say that it wouldn't work.
I'm just laying out the strategy. They are hoping that people get bored.
Will that happen if it involves the death of loved ones or their own health? |

if you think about it carefully that is probably going to increase the damage to the conservative and unionist party. the media will fill the information void with speculation up untill the elections. then after the elections the story will continue to run and run with the further drip drip drip from the police enquiry. then when that's finally finished months later the publication of the report from sue grey inquiry will pick up for a month or so where the police left off. then when that's done, a series of parliamentry enquiries into serial lying by johnski and by proxy the conected revelations of chumocratic corruption will rumble on until the next GE.
labour have played a blinder by keeping conservative and unionist lying, corruption and general criminality as the main story for a very long time. |

It's common practice and happened before as they'd be accused of political interference, which I don't agree with.
As for it's just a Fixed Penalty, a small misdemeanor in context. However, the more grave issue is that he is capable of 'lying', which is not knew but it cuts straight to the heart of our democracy. His integrity on the world stage is broken as he lies.
So, let's look beyond the stupidity of the offences themselves and focus on the multiple lies that followed thereafter. It begs the question, what else has he lied about?
He is a born liar and fit to run the country we live in.
Letter to my local mp again sent yesterday demanding he stops lucking Boris's ring and faces up to the truth his leader is morally bankrupt.
His last response to me was that Ukraine was more important. There is more to dealing with Russia ran by a corrupted leader than allow another to deal with him.
It is a weak argument and others are as capable of dealing with it without blabbing to the press what the UK are doing to front-up to Russia and drawing attention. |

"Willfully misleading the house, will be the piece that finally overloads buckaroo boris. "
Sadly, his MPs will not mind that he has lied to the country. They will only mind that he's lied to their faces. |

Yes, they don't care how much damage he does to the country, but if he damages the Tory party, he's gone.
However I don't think he has damaged the party, as we can see from here, Conservative voters simply don't care. |

I care. I have voted conservative in the past amongst others and looking at the alternatives for the next election. When I know what other parties propose to do I will decide who gets my vote. |

Interesting, do you think there are many other who will be considering an alternative vote?
Personally I don't think it will make any difference. Scandal after scandal keep happening, and it has no effect on election Day. |

Mr Hay you really need to get some new material. You’re doing a lot of cutting n pasting between threads. You’re starting to dilute your own parody. Disappointing! |

Obviously I can only speak of my own intentions and of those I personally know. The vast majority of those I know who have also voted conservative in the past are of the same opinion as me in seeking an alternative.
I don't know how that translates into the wider population, only time will tell. |

I can see a number of voters either switching back to labour (who have also lost the Corbyn concern) or not turning up. Our FPTP means the result is in the hands of a few marginals, not the hard core (who tend to be ones who comment on posts) I'm not so sure these will be so forgiving. |

Drop on who? Beer Korma.?
Just one fine for Boris, so this has not aged well. The Sue Gray report was not the silver bullet some people were hoping for. Still well short of the 54 letters required. Even if 54 can be mustered, he will likely win a vote of confidence.
I do think that the behaviour was not great in No. 10, but it is fair to point out most people were working and breathing the same air anyway and often took these gatherings outside to lower risk further. Try as I might, I can't get exercised by cake and tinsel fibs, but lies from a Labour leader that led to hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq, well 2005 marked me turning from previously voting Labour to never ever putting a x against their name in a general election again. I'm undecided whether I would vote for Boris again in 2024, because of the extraordinary nature of what he was dealing with and which nearly killed him. But if Burnham took over after a shock Starmer sanction......Tories might struggle in 2024. |

To ease your conscience, try supporting an alternative party instead? There are many to choose from. |

This is what I will be doing if Boris is still PM at the next GE. I am waiting to be won over by Labour but should that not happen then will see what independents are running in my area |
