Reports of activity towards Finish border "
Finland and Sweden applied for NATO membership last week! Finland was openly threatened by Russia for doing so. |

Yes.
Russia appear to be adopting the role of "abusive ex-partner", who are still stalking and trying to control what their ex does, who they meet, what self-determination they have, etc.
Finland became part of the Russian Empire from 1809 until its independence in 1917.
Russia have no claim there anymore. |

And could be members as soon as June 2022.

Russia won't do anything to Finland, especially while it is already engaged in Ukraine. Finland as a country has prepared for decades to deal with a Russian invasion and it's the main thing it's military is optimised to repel.
Russia does have a large amount of troops but they cannot all be used in a war, as many are used for defence purposes. There is a very big downside to being the biggest country by landmass in the world. It means you have more borders to protect.
Those units near Finland are anti-missile systems. They're intended to counter any potential NATO missiles that might be deployed there. That said, it's doubtful Finland would allow for foreign troops outside of an article 5 scenario.

"Why has no one taken Putin right out...like Obama did with Vin Laden? He's one Nasty man killing loads of innocent people, and also his troops rap*ing women...it's disgusting "
Because it's actually incredibly difficult, if not near impossible to do so.
History records at least 42 assassination plots against Hitler, with 6 coming to full-term fruition. Of those 6, all failed.
All world leaders will have their own "counter-intelligence" unit who protect the leader from threats and potential assassinations. This is why "plans" and "visits" are changed at the last moment.
It's not because said leader is incredibly disorganised, but rather their security detail is incredibly organised.
You cannot hit a moving target. Especially one who's planned movements change minute to minute. And who has a whole state infrastructure behind them to root out conspirators and other threats.
Osama bin Laden had nowhere near the support infrastructure Putin has.
He had a few loyalists to protect him, and a small compound where he thought he could lie low. That's ripe for a special forces op.
Putin is at the very least in one of several bunkers, with the combined forces of the Russian Federation protecting him. You cannot compare the two, nor imagine how impossible it is to "get to him".

I'm sure they would love to, but..
1) It's against International Law.
2) It would provoke a response that might probably destroy the planet.
Only his own can do it without starting WW3, troubles brewing in his inner circle, just matter of time and for them to get to him first. |

Ok thanks for explaining it so clearly, lets hope one of his own take the matter in to their own hands then. |

Expansion of borders only leaves more to monitor and larger areas to defend. I don't blame any country wanting to join NATO now with deranged Putin in charge, he clearly hasn't done the maths. If anything this is just a ploy to come down hard on his own people after 30 years of relative ease. When sanctions bite he'll be begging to sell his energy and mineral reserves to the world. Yes, he could sell to China, but if they don't start seeing the light in what an idiot Putin is they'll be suffering as the globe boycotts their goods. That reduces what they need to buy from their Russian friends.
