I think for the Tories to survive the next election he has to go

But I don’t think he will on his own

He won't go on his own.

The Tories won't push him out either, there isn't a current replacement ready to step in.

They will let him carry on and the next leader will have a much cleaner slate to work with

Im afraid they will get in. Irrespective of Boris.

Middle England unlikely to vote labour in enough numbers

He's a narcissistic liar and the labour leader is a spineless shill

We have no hope either way

Maybe, but there is absolutely no chance they will get another 80 seat majority

And you've just quoted why there's no hope. Neither of those two parties have a chance of making a difference at all

They be part of a coalition? It doesn’t have to be a straight choice between labour and the tories

. The issue is that all the Boris haters are just a very forcefully and vocal small minority. What matters are his achievements and everything is looking good so far. He negotiated a successfull EU exit , managed covid well ( this can be proved by an analysis of the figures for excess deaths ) and to the President of Ukraine he is a hero.

The only poll that matters is that held on election day. Those that believe the trending on Twitter represents the real world will be in for another shock .

Part of a coalition when they won't have any seats?

The last coalition killed the Lib Dems

That is because they went with the Tories, if you don’t like labour and don’t like the Tories then vote for who you do like, if nothing else your conscious will be clear

It does have to be a straight fight between the Tories and a single progressive party in most of the marginals though, and I am unconvinced the LDs, Greens and Labour will manage that degree of co-operation. Whereas Brexit stepped aside for Tories in 2019 (presumably because Boris promised that if he got in he would destroy the country in the way they seemed to want - a promise he has pretty much delivered on)
