He just had to stick his oar in and travel to Ukraine, still wearing what appears to be his one and only suit. He will do anything for a photo opportunity. Hopefully his next one will be waving Sunak and his wife off as they leave Downing Street for the flight back to India |

I personally have no criticism of how our armed forces have been training the Ukrainians as obviously that seems to have helped so far.
I am also happy we have been at the forefront of lethal aid supplies along with the U.S.
On a cynical note Boris rocks up now the Russians have left the area unlike the previous leaders travelling whilst the fighting was all around.
As for the suit yes as usual he looks out of place but as I’m no style guru I won’t be the first to complain . He chooses to look that way to appear more interesting so it’s not an accident. You can decide if he looks more interesting or an unkempt twat!
We are still holding up the flow of migrants so not showering ourselves in glory there. Even Priti Useless is now apologising. |

However I think that the Citizens of Ukraine will have a very different opinion . The President has already thanked him for our unconditional support and our pledge to send an additional £100 million of military aid . I cannot imagine many in a war zone having the slightest interest in the suit worn by Boris .What they want is practical action . Considering the fact that Putin has declared Boris as his public enemy number 1 Boris displayed bravery in making the trip

"it's appears to the majority, that johnski's barefaced cheek to turn up in the middle of a war waged by the chums that he's taken so many millons in corrupt bungs from, especially when the policies public opinion has forced him to take have been so very weak and implemented so much later than the rest of the world, particularly the EU who have been the leading light in taking action to stop the war. citizens of ukraine have watched this spectacle of a publicity stunt and are asking why have you come here instead of sending the military aid which we have asked for? are you going to don a helmet, pick up a rifle and join us on the front line?
The UK unlike the rest of europe have been in the Ukraine since the invasion of the Crimea training and suppling arms to the Ukrainians. The UK and USA intelligence told the Ukraine that an invasion was going to happen after the Olympics while the rest of Europe and the Ukraine i might add failed to believe it.The UK lead the military aid to them and had sent 1000,s of anti tank weapons before Germany had even pledged the 500 helmets they sent. "
We have also been flying air tanker and surveillance flights almost 24 hours a day at the borders too. Satellite coms have been tasked full time since day one.
Mildenhall have hosted global hawk and most of the USA's air tanker and surveillance flights.
We are front line in Poland assisting with training and military support. |

I’m not praising them either but to claim look at me is just photo op. Yes people will say the Ukrainians will like it . Maybe yes, maybe no seeing as we won’t send NATO in.
He wanted to appear as a brave strong leader as his reputation is in tatters in the U.K. I also think that Boris’ team put the knife in with Rishi.

So are you suggesting the political leader of the UK should not travel to Ukraine to show support? Or that those other leaders who have already travelled should also not have travelled to show support. ? |

"The Czech, Slovenian and Polish Prime Ministers have all been to Kyiv recently.
As has the President of the Eu Commission. "
That's what I read too so not sure why if the UK pm goes its classed as cynical or bare faced cheek. Seems to be a shift in the weapons being sent to more offensive types. The anti ship missiles will cause a stir if Ukraine can use it to destroy Russian ships. Not sure if it can be launched from land though |

Is Russia using ships to invade Ukraine? Perhaps we should send some 1800's era cannon, in case Putin mobilises his cavalry forces. |

Because they are easy to move, they make the perfect fit for the Ukrainian military.
While the Harpoon missiles are older technology, they’re not currently in use by the Russian military.
And giving Ukraine access to these missiles means the US and its allies wont have to send more secretive weaponry, with concerns they might fall into the hands of Russia.
They are described as the best anti-ship missiles ever, and the UK is about to send its harpoon missiles to Ukraine to help combat Russian warships.
The Harpoon is an all-weather, over-the-horizon, anti-ship missile developed and manufactured by Boeing Defence.
The 15ft missiles are accurate to a range of 80 miles.
That should deter a sea landing near Odessa. |

As well as shelling and launching missiles at Ukraine from Russian warships they are also blockading the black sea. This cuts off Ukraine by sea. 300 cargo ships have been prevented going to and from Ukraine by Russian war ships. |

If Russia cuts off the Black Sea that makes Ukraine land locked they are a massive supplier of the worlds grain supply so join the dots |

It would be nice to see him do a walkabout like that from time to time in the U.K. I am sure that unlike most of the Ukrainians who didn’t know him from Adam, the citizens of places like Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham would welcome the opportunity to let him know how they feel about his Government. |

Folk moaning about Boris' suit. Can you imagine if he rocked up in combats? Or did a Macron and copied Zelenskyys hoodie and military t-shirt? The piss would be ripped right out of him by the media. And you lot. The man truly can't win at times |

Shame he cannot walk down the streets of the poorest areas of this country, which have been neglected. He can fly miles to a country to pledge money and support, but many people here have suffered, are starving and go to food banks.
Whilst he makes the grand overtures of being some "wartime leader" which plays well with his base, it doesn't detract from his domestic problems.
People see through the smokescreen, we know what you are doing and we are no longer gullible to your antics. |

Who gives a damn about that?
He's desperate, and is over compensating for his incompetence on the domestic front. |

I'm no fan of his. But actually. For once. He's doing the right thing. Poverty in the uk does not compare with what's going on in Ukraine. But people see what they wish to see. |

1. It's his job to defend our interests. He gets paid for it, there was never any question of doing his job.
2. He could have Video Chatted with the President of Ukraine. But no, he wanted the photo opp, he wanted to show he was billy big bollocks to the world.
3. He has been literally chomping at the bit to fly over there as a major distraction from his problems at home. Everyone has been saying it, he is so transparent.
The real hero is the President of Ukraine, that guy is the greatest wartime leader in a generation. He has galvanised support for defending his country, putting the whole world on trial for their inaction in letting autocrats and despots get away with crimes against humanity.
All these world leaders are trying to bask in this guys light. Trying to tie their brand to his. So shameful, considering its these "leaders" that have let the world get to this state of affairs.
Our PM has a lot to answer for and the elections are a referendum on his premiership of this nation.

In six months time you will see how bad poverty is going to get and how Boris playing at Churchill will be viewed by much of the country. He is not a deep thinker and his strategies are usually short lived because he is the classic slightly useless middle manager who treats life like his public school background in that it doesn’t matter what you do as long as you get to be head boy and get your name engraved on a cup. It’s all short term expediency dressed up in patrician clothing and manners but unlike his pal JRM Boris is just not good at making money so he bends over to every offer he gets. Boy do I despise him and his second rate cabinet |

I generally agree, I hope this lot are the nadir of our political leadership, but it can always get worse. That said I still think we should be offering support to Ukraine in their defence. |
