I don’t know if anyone watches Ben Shapiro on YouTube, but he did a discussion on this last night. Putin is 69 years old and does not have a “legacy” ie, unlike other famous Russian leaders like Stalin/Lenin etc, he has not “expanded the Russian empire.” He’s ill and this is his last attempt to have his “name” in Russian history.  |

Even Hitler's name is in German history and look how that ended up.
Come to think of it he could be doing a Hitler in more ways than we know.
Towards the end in 1945 Hitler had convinced himself that the German people were useless and didn't deserve him. He knew deep down that he would be soon dead and made a concerted effort to take as many Germans with him as possible.
The only thing that stopped him using an atom bomb is that he didn't have one.

It’s been going on since at minimum 2014, just on a much smaller scale, the west of Ukraine (mostly pro eu, Ukrainian speaking) versus a large chunk of the eastern side (mostly Russian speaking, pro Russian) but let’s be real, that part of Europe is always at war of some sort, there’s never usually so much of a fuck given, this time there is because Ukraine is strategic to the US in their agency games, and is considered a NATO step to far to Putin (who tried to join NATO when Clinton was pres) and is actually many steps too far, he just couldn’t really do anything before but has the ability to now due to a much stronger armed force and the ability to take away things other countries have depended on Russia for.
He’s not mad, it has been very well thought out for a long time. |
