Why is it that so many from the west seem to think that we are the only ones being fed the truth about everything?
Of course there are many who take EVERYTHING with a pinch of salt, no matter the source, but there seem to be so many that absorb everything our media puts out and believe in it religiously…
There’s an inherent “we are enlightened, the rest of the world is lied to and manipulated” attitude that must piss off the rest of the world and I think plays directly into the hands of paid up social engineers.
What are your thoughts? Do we need to change our view of the rest of the world? Are we being played? Or are we more informed than anyone else?

How many news sources are owned by Rupert Murdoch?
And I’m sure the internet makes our news sources available worldwide? Which would mean readily available.
Also, just because we have a plethora of sources, does that instantly mean we are more enlightened? Our supermarkets have a plethora of choices, until you look at the label and see Pepsico or some other major corporation on the back of almost every thing in your basket? |

Everyone has an angle, from A Russian Oligarch to a Western Media mogul to a pleb who think’s s/he knows it all be because they've red it in the Fail or seen something on Tick Tock and know their vote was the one that mattered.
Everyone Has a spin and a game of some sort. The increasingly challenging balancing act is figuring out what is really going on. Top tip os to follow the money as it is the deeds not the words that usually reveal the truth. Sadly. |

The consumption of anything should be considered, by the consumer. The quality of reporting is constantly under the microscope, and rightly so, but what we tend not to put under the microscope, is how we read and absorb the information presented.
Covid and Brexit are excellent examples of how we read something to meet our own agendas, don't like or agree with what is being reported it tends to get dismissed out of hand as rubbish.
Media and reporting is like a mathematical question, you can look at the information and gauge roughly where the answer should be, if you arrive at a number that isn't in the expected range, you know you've gone wrong. |

Kind of agree on that point. If you listen to news a lot of the headlines they are quotes of what a leader or politician has said.
So what he or she maybe saying is a unproven opinion. But a lot of listeners when they hear it on every headline on the TV and radio, assume it to be fact. |

“I welcome commitments already made by a number of firms to divest from Russian assets”
May need a chat with the Mrs and father-in-law.
It’s all gaslighting with the Tories trying to give the image of being tough on Russia. |

But did she not already have the shares way before any of this kicked off ? If it’s her dad’s company then they were probably given to her by daddy ? |
