Food boss says prices could rise by up to 15%

No real surprise there given that Russia and Ukraine are some of the biggest wheat producers plus, with the cost of gas and fuel rising as a result of the war, heating and transport costs are also going up.
At least we can still eat and live in our own homes unlike those fleeing the war or staying to defend their country. |

Indeed we should be thankful to live in a safe and wealthy country
Just a shame that we knew this would happen to us eventually and didn’t plan for it Russia should have been cut out of our economy many years ago. |

All this money printing was going to bring mega inflation.

U have a friend who runs a busy takeaway. He buy 8, 20 litre drums of vegetable oil a week.
He use to pay £25 a drum. This week his supplier is charging £45 a drum. |
