Apparently promised back in 2016 - two years after Russia invaded Crimea - the Bill is finally going through the HoC.

I suppose we'll get to find out how effective it is - or not - in due course.

That it's going to become law at all, is only due to the outrage at recently murdered civilians; those slaughtered in previous years weren't enough for the Government of the time to get upset about.

Being, at long last, dragged to it, kicking and screaming, tells you a lot about what sort of people the majority of the ruling Party are.

They have no principles, they only pretend to.

They can be bought - by anyone.

Well if anyone hasn’t woken up to how second rate the bunch of shysters we have had in power for the last ten years are then perhaps the slaughter of people like us(!) might finally prick their heartless little bubbles. Brexit and the madness of Trump’s American dream have been distractions from what has really been going on in the past ten years which is Russian expansionism to control the supply of oil, gas and wheat and the crushing of the EU while deflecting the USA into a backwater all of its own making. Life is about to get much harder for us all
