Do you think he made some big mistakes and world reaction to his plans and the Ukranian reaction to his Invasion

Do you all think he might have shot him self in the foot

With what happening with his chums now falling out with him

Do you think he hasnt much time left at the top that he soon going to be yesterday man?

Sanctions will only work long-term so if the war is over before they can work all these sanctions are for nothing because west will forget and resume trade. Not to mention EU are still buying gas from Russia as we speak...

They're aiding Russia as much as Ukraine

Yes, I think all this. In the interests of humanity, it is likely an assassination will take place as he has gone utterly insane and off the rails. This makes negotiation impossible. Gorbachev would be appalled Russia is being led by an evil gangster who has gone mad.

The first casualty in any war is the truth.

What we are seeing in the media is less than half of what’s really going on. Most of it is lies and misinformation. Have a look at the media in the non-western world – Africa, Asia, South America. They don’t give a monkey’s about what is, or maybe is not, happening in Ukraine.

Putin started out as a KGB officer, ending up with the rank of lieutenant colonel. Who d’you thinks knows what he’s about? A high ranking ex-Secret Police officer, or Boris the buffoon?

You must fill us all in and get on to MI5!

Just like covid, I'd forgotten it's a sex site member who has the real lowdown.

Could you also let Asia and South America and Africa know about the nuclear threat? Not sure if you understand, but they're likely to be affected if one of those goes off.

Watching news reports of his televised meetings and conferences in recent years shows him to be quite literally more and more withdrawn even from his closest Generals and Henchmen.

Invariably he is standing, or sitting in solitude whilst those who are meeting him are literally on the other side of the room.

I think that he has reached a level of such omnipotent power that no-one close to him even dare tell him the truth and so he is existing in a state of delusion and ever present paranoia.

Not sure that his demise will be in days, but I think the end result will be the end of Putin. It’s unfortunate that on the journey thousands will die unnecessarily and millions will feel economic hardship - just because of him, one delusional fruit cake.

Yes I do think he will quickly become yesterday's man.

However it is highly possible that he could take us all with him.

If he is backed into a corner he could lash out anywhere (or everywhere)

Hopefully someone in Russia will take him out before he can do irreparable damage to the world.

If Putin goes out with a bang (a very big BANG) Boris will be the least of our worries.

Putins standing in Russia whilst still high was slowly slipping, did he see the invasion of Ukraine as a ratings boost same as when he annexed crimea and his war with Georgia over South Ossettia ? (Which Georgia started) is it early onset of dementia/parkinsons or something else ?.

I can't see the Russians regardless of the threat wanting to start world war 3 they know there country would become a radioactive wasteland for centuries. False rumors already abound on social media of him moving his family into his bunker ready. His recent speeches certainly seemed to lack the fire of his personality that it did a few years ago maybe its just age catching up with him or tiredness. Is he worried about a possible coup ? Quite possibly given the failure of the military and the effect on the oligarchs money losses due to sanctions.

He's undoubtedly sown the seeds of his own doom.

Hopefully, it'll be sooner, rather than later - but dictators have an unfortunate history of being very hard to dislodge.

I can't see someone with his background and 20 years in power being easy to get rid of.

In Russia, change of this nature always comes from within - which is why it doesn't happen much.

Certainly, NATO getting rid of him, as they did with Saddam and Gaddafi, is not an option.

It would be nice to see Ukrainian Forces take him out. Seemingly Zelensky has a target on his back, so why not Putin?

Problem is that he will be yellow bellying like Trump and hiding away.

Saddams WMD was a lie told to us all and he threatened to drop the dollar. He died

Gaddafi threatened to drop the dollar and use a gold backed dinar. He died

Assad dropped the dollar. he nearly died.

Join the dots

Have you not noticed, you can't get near enough nor can his generals. Why do you think he sits that far away from them, it is to make assasination very hard, he can't attacked or sprayed with nerve agent or radioactive particles, the chance of a shot from hand gun would miss or be arrested by his vest.

The look on the advisors faces said it all last night, but sadly they can't get near him. The change would need to come from young poorly trained recruits in Ukraine losing their lives.

You've hit the nail on the head. Plus for years now, Vladimir Putin has employed a full-time food taster to ensure his meals aren't poisoned.

Yes.

No. Someone else will do that for him, and it won't be in the foot.

Yes. And this time, as well as powerful generals, he's also got very unhappy and even more powerful oligarchs gunning for him. Their obscene levels of wealth which are being hampered will motivate them, probably collectively, to do something about Putin. They are hurting and their world is crumbling/ on hiatus. Doing nothing is not an option for people with immense power and wealth.

Its hard to say right now.

France attacked ISIS in Mali, and they stopped a few times and what looked like "stalls". However after the event, everything was looked at properly and they did an amazing job. They waited for refuels/ammo/reinforcments all pretty much exactly right amount of time.

Right now some media are showing lines of tanks/armour reaching up to 60km they claim.

If so, then Russia was ready for the world reaction and wanted to go in heavy and hard and did not underestimate it at all.

Did russia underestimate sanctions? Well russia has moved a lot of their fortune into gold and silver and pyshically flew it to countries like china/brazil/india, the brics countries.

So Russia expected heavy sanctions. Maybe the oligarchs didnt expect to be hit so hard as they might be, but russia was expecting it on them.

If you notice someone like Roman has not had any sanctions yet, and he is openly moving assets around so when the sanctions come he is protected (givning up chelsea etc). France seized a boat belonging to a bank under sanctions, and then the bank informed them they sold the boat the day before.

Russians are very good at this, dumping their assets before a sanction, and then just casually picking them back up when the sanctions end, usually picking them up in an even more expensive car/yacht than they dropped the old assets off in.

I think we need to take the things the rich russians own. I think we need to make it clear to India/Brazil that if this turns into a world war 3, their use of russian gold/silver and a brics system will not end well for them, and hurting russia even a little will go very well for them.

The time for rattling cages is gone, pick a side, cause Europe and USA are ready to treat this as the possible start of world war 3 and act accordingly.

But right now, Putin could be laughing at the sanctions while asking his daughter who is head of a 1.7 billion dollar company for a million for a new watch. We dont know, and we might not know for years as they keep blocking media/news out of russia.

Even his advisors look nervous around him

Thank god your not advising foreign policy.

Your answer to ww3 against Russia and possibly China. Would be to make threats against Brazil ( the largest military in South America and 10th in the world) and India ( the 4rth largest military in the world ).

Making threats usually turns people against you, not make friends and influence them.
