Rees-Mogg is leading a study into the viability and advantages of the UK moving back to Imperial measures.
I read that post Brexit, the UK could once again have a glass stamped with the pint mark however, also read that there was nothing stopping that happening whilst in the EU.
I also remember reading that Imperial measures could be used whilst in the EU as long as the metric measure was also included.
Therefore not a Brexit issue apart from the dropping of the metric measure.
Is there a benifit or are we simply wasting taxpayers money investigating the benifits of moving back to these measures? |

"Pub glasses always were labelled in pints....and never in metric. Or did you stop drinking during our EU membership?"
I seem to have been ordering pints of beer for 40+ years, never ordered 454ml of anything lol |
