There is a path the west are following and pushing, if you know how somebody thinks you can control and manipulate which is exactly what Russia and its allies are doing setting out the course and obstacles. |

problem is polititians and the press are giving Putin so much airtime he is getting backed into a situation where he will seem weak if he pulls back now.
If he does go ahead he's the big evil but if he backs off all of the polititains will try to claim credit and start saying that they have him on the run 
But as always it's the ordinary people who suffer and die while the polititains sit in thier ivory towers in safety  |

But Biden is not the one lining his troops along the Ukrainian border is he!
I for one would love to see Putin get his ass whipped

Maybe so, in most cases. Doubt you could point that at Putin. There is a widely reported story of him going out to face a large crowd on his own, who had come to attack the KGB headquarters in Berlin that he was in charge off.
This was during the downfall of East Germany, don't know how true it is, but not heard many claiming its not. But age does mellows people.
But anyway you took a tongue in cheek comment, too seriously. |

Maybe so, in most cases. Doubt you could point that at Putin. There is a widely reported story of him going out to face a large crowd on his own, who had come to attack the KGB headquarters in Berlin that he was in charge off.

I don’t doubt he went out in his own but I dare say there were more than 1or2 rifles trained in the crowd just in case
