Sure is, my company does a lot of business with several of the countries already signed up to this so I can see this being beneficial to us as a business.

It moving faster than I expected. I read they are hoping to complete this last stage by the end of the year which apparently is ambitious. I'm guessing about spring 23 as usually some delay with these things

Additional oversight of international courts, in a part of the world far from where we actually live. Excellent. If only there was something closer to home like that.

Any good news is good news. Yes some of the opportunity and constraints might mirror or seem similar to EU rules. But we have to move forward as best we can with the bed we’ve shat in. So this can’t be a bad thing.

yes there was once it was called the common market unfortunately now there isn't anything like it unless you want to pay to have a parliament , court and all that goes with it.

This

Once upon a time it was a good idea to have a common market but as time went by the politicians started to turn it into something more and now it bears no relation to it.

Became more controlling

In 1975 we had a referendum (I wasn't old enough to vote then as still in primary school). It was to join/remain in common market...which seemed a good idea.

We were NEVER asked to join an undemocratic union...but led into it by various treaties.

We did have a referendum to LEAVE said union....and we voted to do so! Get over it!!
