Ho many times have we been told petrol and diesel prices are so high "because crude oil is at record prices".

This week, while £1.51 per litre, they are claiming $94 a barrel is highest in 7 years. But 10 years ago, it was $120+ a barrel and fuel was around £1.19 per litre.

Which bullshit do we believe?

It never falls back at the same rate, and just gets ratcheted up more..

1) inflation

2) devaluation of pound against the US dollar…. You know.. that “b” word

3) fuel price escalator….
