So dianne abbott has called starmer deranged for supporting nato. I didnt think it would be long once the focus on partygate was taken over by more important news for labour to start imploding again, the loony left have not gone away.

So a centre party are now "loony left".

Fuck me.

That's where we are.

Also yes. Don't focus on the government. It's much better to look at some pointless distraction. Excellent work.

Sorry i forgot anything else is a distraction from partygate i bet you think boris had a word with putin to take the pressure off him too.

Again a mis quote i did not call the whole labour party the loony left you really must re read things when i post them instead of jumping in feet first to try and put me down its getting tedious having to keep correcting your interpretation of what i said.

Anyone who discusses the behaviour and performance of the government.

Perhaps, given certain members of NATO's propensity for invading other countries, Russia may be right to be worried about Ukraine joining that organisation. I'm no fan of Putin by the way, but I certainly don't want to see war either.

It is probably just a blip for Labour. There will always be those from the previous Labour leadership that will snipe at starmer. Still with a lead in the polls and the government on the ropes it is an unwelcome self inflicted distraction

Labour are shifting a bit too much right for the old guard. Russia are the good guys remember.

That's why the Conservative party buried the report into Russian influence in UK elections then?

Abbot, Corbyn, momentum (militant tendency)....they are still there in the labour party....the people who were the main reason labour lost the last election. The Tories could not have won otherwise.

Labours looney left wing are clowns which undermine the parties ability to function as a credible opposition. Dianne two left feet should have been long gone from politics.

If they shifted further to the right to get elected, like they did under war criminal Blair. Then they just because as bad as the Tories and utterly pointless.

Is it crazy to find common cause with those who share the same values as clearly the majority of the country?

Fringe spectrums, left or right have no real clue of the ordinary person on the street, preferring to impose their views on everyone. Nobody wants to be some communist or a facist, they just want to live their lives, free from the crazy ideas, like giving rich people tax breaks, or taxing the rich heavily as a penalty for their success. They just want a fair shake for everyone, so two fingers up to those who ascribe to extremist ideals.

Just be thankful that the bunch of loonies never got in.

Even know, with everything Russia, they still believe sending white roses and doves, keeps us safe.

Appeasement never works with tyrants. Without NATO, how would our miserly 80,000 Armed Forces cope.

Think about it, there are more Russian troops knocking on Ukraine's door than all UK's services, put together!!!

Rule Britania!!

A whiff of Munich would be an understatement..

We have a very far right government at the moment (purely on political policy terms). The whole narrative is skewed. People calling Labour, who are a centrist party, "loony left".

Personally Labour pointless as an opposition at the moment. All they're offering is a less shit, less self serving version of the Tories. It's not good enough.

Maybe less is better, thats want people want. Nothing extreme. They think somethings are ok, other things not. It’s about being fair and not being the pockets of the rich or pockets of the unions. People don’t want either heavy privatisation or heavy nationalisation. Fair and responsible government is the order of the people now.

I said "We have a very far right government at the moment (purely on political policy terms)"

The current government are further to the right than previous right wing governments in terms of policy and rhetoric. They fit the definition of political far right pretty well. The prioritise the ultra wealth and corporations over British people.

Why do you ask such mundane questions?

The main point I was making is that Labour aren't offering any decent alternative. We need a party in government who will work for the British people, instead of themselves and their funders.

Fair enough.

I'm only basing my point of view on political definitions, and what the government is doing.

To be clear, the main point was my dissatisfaction with Labour offering any meaningful alternative.

I can't really ever see Dianne Abbott being in any way a supporter of mr Starmer. Ever.

Hope that helps.
