Why would he go ? In reality I cannot imagine these so called parties being of any interest to voters .
His achievements speak for themselves. An 80 seat majority , an exceptionally successfull vaccination programme and a successfull exit from the EU.
There are many benefits from his period in office that are still to come. We currently have one of the fastest growing economies in Europe.
At least he is prepared to take a few short cuts and get the job done. This approach is 100 times better than getting bogged done in bureaucracy. |

Umm we forget that Blair had a majority, and he did some successful things like minimum wage, money for the NHS, improved schools, reduced childhood poverty, but he also had Iraq and Afghanistan and that was his downfall.
So we can say it doesn’t matter what he did, partygate and all the lies have totally cancelled that out.
Like Churchill said, to divine the future you look at the past, and the past is a great place to see what will happen with this PM’s future. |

He’s a muppet. A shrewd political operator and thick skinned - but whatever ‘successes’ are claimed have very little to do with Boris himself.
Brexit has not been a success - so far at least. Though there have been a few niche opportunities to coin it for some. So there's always a silver lining.
He should go and give someone with a little more integrity a chance at the top job.
Imagine a Tory who just came out and honestly said what they believe in and delivered without spin, lies and taking the piss. Maybe Gove or Nanny’s Boy will be next. That would be a barrel of laughs. |

Having looked at as much as available about these "parties" or after work drinks they appear to have been organised by civil servants for civil servants.
The "birthday party" was organised as a surprise and many others without Bojo being present.
That said he is the man at the top and should have acted to stop, sack and remove the morons who organised and planned things.
I will be more interested in where the police investigation goes, who gets the blame and where the fines etc are levied. |

A few facts...
Poll after poll finds Johnson's approval rating is appalling. Voters indeed seem to care v much about Partygate and Johnson's involvment in it.
Yes Johnson got a big majority. So what? That means he shouldn't tell the truth to us or follow the laws we have to follow?
The vaccination program has mostly gone well. But Johnson's other actions with the pandemic were often awful...
He didn't bother to turn up to Cobra meetings about the pandemic.
He undermined the public health message by boasting about shaking hands with everybody in a hospital on the day Sage were warning against that. He was photographed not bothering to wear a mask in a hospital when it was mandatory. He didn't sack Cummings after that man blatantly broke lockown. He didn't sack Hancock after that man blatantly broke lockdown rules. And let's not forget how hugely Partygate has undermined public health messaging.
Also, studies conclue Johnson's lateness to lockdown cost literally thousands of lives. Oh and the many elderly people who died because the government sent hospital patients into care homes without first testing them for Covid. (Likely thousands more deaths there.)
As for the successful Brexit, seriously? The economic damage has been huge and will be for a long time. A study concluded Brexit will cause us double the economic damage of Covid.
Oh and on his economy claim, it's dubious to say the least. According to Full Fact, our economy grew the most over the past year, looking at the change between the third quarter of 2020 and the third quarter of 2021. But, when comparing the second and third quarters of 2021, the country ranked fifth – after France, Italy, Germany and Canada.
And our country recorded the second worst growth among the G7, shrinking by 1.5% during the course of the pandemic.
Quite the list of achievements, eh? |

The vaccination programme has gone well thanks to the NHS not Johnson.
Never liked him because of brexit he got it done to what cost to Businesses and lost our freedom of movement. We Voted Tory until he was made PM will never vote tory again and hope he does but on the other hand he he stays this bunch wont get in again. |

For the sake of the country he has to go, for the sake of the opposition parties I hope he stays a while, there will be more scandals, more sleeve to come and those Tory MPs defending him are going to look even more stupid soon |

If he was truly “ambushed by a cake” then:
1. He should have given everyone including Carrie and the Interior Designer a ticking off and walked out (corporate culture is set by the leadership).
2. Why did he feel the need to lie and change his story over the days and weeks since it came to light?
3. What about the other 19 parties?
4. Where is the honest apology to all the 000s of people who lost loved ones who they couldn’t see due to the rules (they died alone).
It is inexcusable and disgusting. They should all be sacked.
And these parties were literally the icing on the cake. The real crime is the corrupt and fraudulent transfer of public assets (our money) to the cronies, friends and family of Tory ministers and peers. The biggest theft in history.
They should be in fu77ing prison! |

Of course he should, he's a shameless, arrogant liar but everyone knew that and a majority in England voted for him anyway because they wanted to believe his lies over Brexit. Go and take everyone who have laughed at us when watching or loved ones die. Forget anything these bastards deserve everything they get disnt matter what political party you vote think for 1 minute. This clown is still doing it every question time good god can't you all see it.
