Well what now?
He has got away again, and the breathing space he desperately needed has been given.
He is attempting to change the conversation, making it about Russia, making it about his successes, trying to gain the lost momentum.
But like Blair, all these achievements are nothing, because the person is bigger than the policies. It's not what happens on the ground any more, its going to all be about "partygate', and that will be like an albatross around his neck.
People will say he did much during the pandemic, but there will those who will say what about Partygate? just like Blair and Iraq.
And like Blair and the Labour Party in the 2000's, the conservatives will be facing a long political wilderness after the next GE.
But what do you think?

" well seems as they have been in power for the majority of the last fifty years id say we live in a predominantly conservitive country.so will most likley be kicked out next election lose the one after that then win power again,i think them being banished for years is wishfull thinking, people have short attention spans |

He is a wretched apology for a human being, a serial liar, a predatory abuser, a sociopath without any discernable redeeming features.
His failure to react quickly enough cost thousands of lives. Fortunately he eventually listened to the health professionals and agreed to fund the vaccine programme, but the tories can't in all honesty claim credit for the massive efforts of others but, being tories, they do.
He is indeed, as the orange fascist criminal across the waters said, Britain's Trump. Worst PM ever, a total degenerate. |

Whats the name for a person in power, who refuses to let that power go, and insists that they still rule over a population, who wants that person to go? |

Comparing the No.10 saga to Blair and the Iraq war is just laughable. It shows how desperate people are at ousting a PM who won an 80 majority at the last General Election.! |

It is a conundrum for Labour though. They have to be seen calling for him to quit but know that only leads to a Tory party leader election not a GE. At present he is Labour's biggest asset so they need to have him stay until the next GE. This may mean people voting Labour not because they like them but because they don't want Boris. Bit like voting for biden to get rid of trump. |

All I am saying is that in this world you remember the bad a person does more than the good, its just how things happen, can spin it as much as you want. Do people remember Harold shipman as a good doctor, or as a cold blooded killer?
And talking about elections, just because you had a massive majority the 1st time, doesn’t make you immune from not having a massive majority the next time, so let us agree that nothing in this life is certain.

"He has done lot of damage to the party. But the question always remain. Is labour strong enough to make inroads into the situation?"
There is nothing stopping them, but suspect they don’t need to do much at this moment, the memories of this current government are burned in people minds. Besides who needs to say vote labour when the tories are doing such a great job of doing it for them? |

In the two by elections that the Tories lost their seats, people preferred to choose Libdems ahead of Labour. As much as they hate Tories, people do not want labour back to power as well. |

Agreed that they definitely would not be able to get the majority like the last election. It would be interesting to see if libdems can reach some kind of agreement with labour. |
