Have we've missed the elephant in the room..

Is there any other kind of employment in this country that it is so acceptable to drink alcohol that even when the Prime Minister walks in, no-one, including himself, bats an eye lid?

No one, responsible for government and should be drinking alcohol at work while on duty. If they weren't working, then it was socialising.

Good point, it is obviously the ‘norm’, not a good look

The person at the top sets the culture and behaviour, if they allow it they are culpable or stupid beyond belief in not knowing..

If this was taking place on a ship of the line, by now the Captain would be elsewhere waiting demotion..

The buck it seems only stops at the top in certain cases..

I suspect drink, drugs and debauchery are present. These people are laughing at us and, appear to be getting away with it all.
