The Commons speaker has gone to police over claims of cocaine use at Westminster. This followed the Sunday Times investigation that found evidence of cocaine in 11 out of 12 locations tested in the building.
I'm shocked. Shocked... well not that shocked.

Was in the news that he was looking at bringing in drug dogs to sniff out offenders
Just imagine how open to abuse that would be as you only have to brush against someone to transfer traces that a dog will detect |

Pretty sure a paper done the same sort of investigation when blair was in power and that also said evidence of widespread use was found in parliment back then aswell,am sure would be the same. Findings if you tested anywhere that you get thousands of people |

"Thousands of people pass through The Palace of Westminster every day.
I'd be surprised if any MP was using drugs in the toilets. "
"The newspaper quoted anonymous Westminster sources claiming that drug use was rife among some staff and MPs.
One was quoted as saying: “I have seen an MP openly snorting cocaine at a party. There were journalists present and I warned them that what they were doing was extremely dangerous and they could be exposed but they seemed to get off on the power trip.”
Another said: “MPs tend to be more careful than staff and will go back to their office to do it rather than doing it in any of the public spaces, but I have heard of one staffer who walked in on their MP doing a late-night line at their desk.”
Yup, sounds like no MPs do it. Keep on trying to defend the indefensible. |

I'm not trying to defend anything. Having seen first hand the misery that drugs cause, then I have cause to despise any drugs use.
After the Keith Vaz affair, I'm sure that MPs are more careful, hence my remark of doing it in the toilets.
The law of averages say that, out of 650 MPs, someone is doing drugs. |

reread what I posted just above. They are not being especially careful. Worse, they're flouting the law while trying to enforce it on other people. |
