"I don't believe that the majority feel like that. Many are welcoming to migrants, and I urge anyone and everyone to read the story of the Vesal family, now happy residents of Aberdeen." I agree with you. Just because people shout the loudest doesn't mean they are the majority. The viewing figures for GB News proves that point so well.

Whilst there are many many heart warming stories of UK families taking in and supporting migrants, you only need to look at the figures (that are readily available) showing how few migrants the UK accepts in comparison with other countries. The attacks on the RNLI are just another example of how a minority can grab the headlines and frighten individuals who are helping others. The UK government, supported by the majority of the voting public, is surely behind this. This forum itself appears to be a fair representation of public opinion with a large number of those taking part very much against having any migrants enter the country. Even the empty promise by the goverment to rescue the Afghan people who helped our British troops has gone nowhere and is bogged down by excuses rather than action. The attacks on the RNLI are but the tip of the iceberg.

"The RNLI has had to take down it's web site after a suspected hacking attack and RNLI staff receive threatening emails encouraged by Far Right groups such as Britain First. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/dec/03/rnli-takes-down-its-website-after-suspected-hacking-attempt?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other We seem to go round in circles and obviously the migrant crisis has brought out the worst in a minority of people. It would also appear that the attitude from quite a large majority of people, both on here and in the UK is that migrants should be allowed to escape persecution and flee to a better life as long as that better life is somewhere else other than in the UK. " The majority don't feel like that

The majority don't feel like that" Tories have an 80 seat majority. Brexit was voted for by over 50% of those who actually voted. Surely both these point to a democratic decision or is there something wrong with the way that the British voting system and British democracy? I do not doubt that your heart and others' on here is in the right place but the figures speak for themselves. Those who drowned in the English Channel were trying to get to the UK using a rubber dinghy because they were left with no other choice and no other way to claim asylum in the UK. Many have repeatedly been moved away from Calais, Dunkirk and other regions bordering the English Channel and returned because of the draw to get to the UK. They are offered the opportunity to claim asylum in other countries but want to reach the UK. The UK makes it impossible for them to claim asylum unless they do so in the UK. A bit of a quandary. ..and what about the Afghans? As I am sure I have said previously, for the majority of the people in the UK, the migrant problem is awful and should be resolved but, by someone else and certainly not by letting migrants into the UK. As long as it is someone else's problem it is fine... ...and ideally, blame the French

They would likely refuse me and what right would I have to ask them to change their laws so that I can get into their country?

"Is there any evit that a 'large majority' of UK citizens approve this illegal immigration? I've not seen any" Can you clarify what evit means please? Can you please confirm where I stated that immigration is illegal? If all you can do is ask others to spend their time doing searches to appease you then I would recommend that you get some basic tuition into how to do searches on a computer. This is a forum on a swinging site and not a court of law. Get a grip.

Also, compared to other countries we take in a paltry amount. This country was built on immigrants. We have welcomed those in need for centuries. The attitude of the government, especially Pritti Patel, a daughter of immigrants appals and embarrasses me. It is shameful.

Actually, I've just checked your original post ..and yes, you DID claim that a 'large majority' of people support this immigration. Why make untrue claims? Of course, if you have evidence...

"The rspca comment isn't exactly pc but it's not aimed at a group, its a statement I. E many hands make light work.... lots of dogs shit, as do every other living thing.... including people. Don't they? Hes saying youre taking on a problem... that there is fall out... but everyone is jumping on the word dog lol he could have said rats? Cock roaches? Zebras? Kangaroos? But he used dogs. Seems people choose what to be offended by because other posters saying most old people are racist isn't exactly non judgemental or pc either! But no one has shot that down, so ageist and rude " I'm starting to wonder if these posts are deliberate stream of consciousness surrealism.
