"Of course we are not, it’s Boris Blunderson who is though.
He manoeuvred that question, typical ducking from the Prime Muddler.
Your thoughts?"

"If you think the uk is corrupt take a look around the world "
I think the UK has a low tolerance for corruption, I think other countries have a higher tolerance.
In the UK we are quick to call foul, which is a sign of a strong democracy.
In this nation, politicians have a right to be afraid of the electorate, because come election time they could easily be defeated. |

It wasn't about the right to appeal. The process is that after a preliminary finding is made, the defendant can ask for further evidence to be included. That's the same as an appeal.
The whole thing was about saving one of BoZo Johnson sidekicks and weakening the process in advance of BoZo getting pulled up. |

We are corrupt
We don’t hand over brown envelopes stuffed with cash.
We divert it through offshore shell companies and give favours on government contracts and take freebies which “are allowed”.
Oh and a membership of the best club in the world the House of Lords .
So we are just as corrupt as the rest of the world we just hide it better .
I’ll give Singapore credit their rampant cronyism and corruption is in full sight. It’s Boris wet dream of a situation. |

The right to appeal was half the story, which, I do support as everyone should have this right whether in court or in Parliament.
It's the dropping of the suspension and punishment of Patterson on "compassionate grounds" this is completely abhorrent.
Two years ago a family member moved his car in a car park in order to put it under CCTV as he'd been threatened that it would be smashed up in a hotel bar.
Although I absolutely don't support drink driving, he was 2mg over with no intention to take the car onto a road, his partner was with him and he moved it less than 15 feet.
Police came and charged him and ended up in court. There was no option there for grounds of leave on compassion as he'd lost his father two days prior. |

Not helped by the fact that Boris has no concept of the truth. It’s all just politics and a game to him.
Has he ever delivered on a promise or pledge made? He got ‘Brexit done’ but not the “oven ready deal” he promised.
A total chancer! |

He's wrong - no big surprise there.
You can look up various "corruption indices" - on one, we're more corrupt than Germany; less corrupt than Ireland, apparently.
Bottom line, the UK is corrupt - and, as we've seen, just lately, there are even Tories out there who aren't happy with it.
That's pretty corrupt. Right? |
