"A more advantageous tax regime! "

That and Dutch courts just ruled that Shell have to cut carbon emissions by 45% (can’t remember date/by when).

At last, a proper Brexit benefit.

All the shady, tax-dodging, polluting companies are going to move their HQs here!

Yes looks like simplifying share structure ready to walk away from emissions rules.

Company registered in U.K. anyway but share structure messy. Top brass just moving to registered address.

Lot of noise about nothing, however Daniel Loeb the guy at Third point hedge fund who wants to break up Shell also having a door slammed in his face.

Political moves rather than jobs sadly.

The Dutch have a share dividend tax, hence why dual registered companies move to the lowest tax regime. It happened with Unilever and now Shell.

Only about 10 jobs are coming to the UK with the Shell reorganisation but needless to say, its a move thats annoyed the Dutch Goverment.

Bbc reports shell are moving their tax residence to the UK. I not heard of this before but assume they now pay tax in the UK? If true then sounds good news
