This is true. Unfortunately, it's a country populated by a lot of corrupt people.

Some of them are in government, some of them are friends of the government, some are in other areas of politics, some are bankers and business people.

As for UK based institutions not being corrupt; well ...

Pick an appointed member of the Hol.

Pick a bank that launders Russian crime money.

Pick a large police force, if you like.

It doesn't have to be this way of course; we could have a government that doesn't encourage corruption.

Mind you, that would mean a break with centuries of tradition.

It was hilarious seeing Johnson say that at COP. Especialy given the lead up to it.

He blatantly rushed back to COP to try and avoid the corruption scandal rumbling on at Westminster. And then pretty much every journalist at COP asked him questions about the corruption scandal.

The highlight was seeing the liar in chief announce we had a robust system to deal with corruption and people who's broken the rules would face punishment. After he himself had tried to tear up that system to get off a Tory MP and to try and stop them investigaing him in the future too.

And a lot of them are ordinary people.

Why do you think we're seeing vast acres of prime countryside and farmland being eaten up for bland housing schemes , there soon won't be such a thing as a village and protests are pointless.

Because England is the 6th most densely populated country in the world , we are only 50 thousand sq miles with at least 55 million , before the Second World War the whole of the U.K. was 38 million

The whole scandal is all Boris's own fault. He should have spoken to Oliver behind closed doors and asked him quietly to resign. Maybe Oliver is one of Carrie's friends?
