The sleaze debate

It's going on right now in the Commons. The Tory benches look largely empty. They obviously didn't wanna be around to defend the indefensible.

And Johnson is mysteriously absent. Apparently he simply had to drive off to the North East, so he couldn't possibly be around for the sleaze debate that was precipitated by him.

Rotten luck on timing, eh? He simply keeps having to run off when the shit is hitting the fan.

Apparently Johnson might be watching it on Telly.

For anyone who was in any doubt if Boris gives half a fuck about anyone but himself. This should be confirmation, that he doesn't.

Interestingly, Mogg isn't doing the government response in the Commons. Despite the fact he's leader of the house. Presumably because he's tangled in this scandal up to his neck.

BoZo is allegedly in the north east, presumably hiding in a fridge, again.

He apparently simply had to visit hospitals up there at this exact moment in time. Tragic bad luck.

Well if that was scheduled then it would have already been set up so what is he supposed to do just cancel it ?

The sleaze and corruption engulfing Johnson and his government is rather a big issue. It would be spiffing if he at least bothered to turn up to the Commons to address it.

On the basis of his flying back to London to attend a meeting with a journalist, pretty sure he could attend parliament for an issue of this severity.

By the way, there are pics of Johnson on his new hospital photo op and avoidance visit. In a few pics, he's not bothering to wear a mask. Because of course he isn't.

Last week he flew from Glasgow in a private jet to meet up with Daily Telegraph journalists at the Garrick Club.

Today he chooses to return by train when one of the most serious debates in Parliament this term is going on. Coincidentally, the debate is all about him, his sleaze, his disdain for standards and details, and his desire to not have to face scrutiny.

I don't think Mogg's gonna say anything at all in the debate. He's clearly been ordered to just sit there and shut up.

Huddersfield /derby cinemas

Last week Johnson flew from Glasgow to London ,Number 10 said he had to fly instead of taking the train because he was busy , on his arrival in London he apparently visited a gentlemans club , , Today while there was an urgent debate in Parliament he took the train from the North East , , arriving back in London at 5pm ,time to attend the debate , which was still taking place at 7pm ,,not sure where he went but didn't attend the House of Commons

Lol.

He's so boring that I can't pay attention long enough to see if he's ripping anyone anything.

Having said that, I haven't watched what he said here.

Starmer's also been making a fool of Johnson at every PMQ I've seen. The problem is that hardly anybody watches them. They prefer to just trot out lines like, oh for example, "Starmer couldn't rip his way out of a paper bag."

In other news a conservative MP is being sued by HMRC for unpaid taxes with the threat of bankruptcy. Oh dear, there there, never mind.

"Starmer has been too polite for too long, though."

Why shouldn’t he be polite?

Personally I think we all need to grow up and realise that soundbytes, slogans and ripostes are not the same as being simply competent to do the job.

Why can’t we have some decency and integrity in politics?

I am simply worn with with years of Pre and Post Brexit lies, and more recently the constant assault on decency and traditions by a Government forcing us into mistrusting and disliking each other.

Oiks, riff-raff-raff and chavs may think differently of course, as is their right lol
