Randox were one of the companies that paid Owen Paterson and they benefitted handsomely through the Covid pandemic with testing kit contracts.
Was it luck?
Is there a connection?
Should there be a public enquiry? |

"Of course there should be an inquiry its tax payers money."
Why?
100% nothing will be done about. It.
100% people will vote the Tories in again at the next election.
They know they can do anything they want to, completely free of consequences. |

I don't especially care either way, because I have zero faith in the process. |

I have an opinion. Isn't that what these forums are for? Posting our points of view.
But sure. I can leave you to it.

As a matter of interest, why do you say Labour are unelectable?
As the Director of Public Prosecutions, the Labour Leader successfully ran the Crown Prosecution Service and his record of honesty and integrity is unimpeachable. He is methodical, and he is detailed.
The sitting Prime Minister is a proven liar and is known to be a man who has no time for details. Whilst attempting to steer the country through the Covid pandemic, he has delivered the worst medical and the worst economic results in Europe. His Brexit deal was never done and even yesterday the arguments with the EU were continuing with the U.K. making stupid threats.

Costa, chill out. I know it's been hard for you on here, but he/she is absolutely entitled to hold no opinion if they wish."
Lol, I don't mind, if his opinion is that only people who agree with him should post. He's allowed to say that.
It would be hypocritical of me otherwise.

I dunno, he was quite honest about not caring how badly the government rips off the country.
I thought it was better than the usual denial or the "what about Corbyn" arguments. |

For clarity, here is the full quote of what I said.
You absolutely implied that I shouldn't be here posting my point of view.
Which I specifically defended your right to express.

So now you want me to post?
My opinion is that the Inquiries Act 2005 is inadequate. They cost too much money, take too long and rarely end with anyone facing any consequences.
Exhibit A. The Chilcot Inquiry.
I'm open to being persuaded otherwise. |

This has started to gain traction.
Seemingly 2018 & 2019 Randox were making a loss. In March 2020 they suddenly moved their Corporate HQ to the IOM and within days they got their first of several Government contracts to supply Covid tests. That first contract was for £133 million and so far they have had £500 million in Government contracts to supply test kits.
This is the same Company that Owen Paterson was openly promoting in Parliament. |

Probably that you don't actually mean it; a reasonable assumption to make, in your case, given your unswerving loyalty to the Party.

there should be many enquiries regarding the going's on in the tory party since december 2019. there should be criminal investigations also, principaly as regards jenrick, raab, patel, mogg, johnson, zahahwi, kwateng et al and their close financing from the shady world of industry. the money links betwixt big business and right wing government need to be broken with extreme urgency if there is to be the slightest modicum of democracy left in the political process of this country. industry cannot be allowed to continue to override the wishes of the people in such a totalitarian and dictatorial fashion. |

Because under Corbyn they wanted to drag us kicking and screaming back to the 70’s. |

Randox is trending on Twitter and Sir Kier Starmer is demanding a full and transparent investigation about the communications between Paterson and Lord Bethel...
The same Lord Bethel who subsequently deleted his WhatsApp messages after awarding Randox the first of £100 million + contract. |

Yes, that's right. Sir Keir really handled the anti-semitism thing perfectly and handed out a gong for the right result. Just look how decisive and honest he's been about Corbyn, Webbe, Vaz and any number of other Labour members who've said and done unpleasant and even illegal things. The reason Labour is where they are despite all the Tories' problems is because people don't believe in him. Regardless of any 'help' the Tories give him, he's as likely to win the next election as Corbyn was to win the last one and for similar reasons. |

So lying, corruption, sleaze and incompetence represent the winning formula then?

In fairness, that person didn't say it's right.
As nearly all the media in this country supports the government, especially around election time, I can't see Labour winning an election any time soon.
All the sleazy and nepotism will be swept under the carpet, and there will be a smear campaign of some kind. Just like they did against Corbyn. It was so effective that people are still banging on about him in half the threads here. |
