Apparently rounds at the pub will be ever so slightly cheaper as rishi sunak announces cuts to some alcoholic duties in the budget.
The price of a pint will fall by 3p as " draft relief" is introduced, a 5% cut to duty on draught beer and cider served from drought containers over 40 liters, but undertaxed stronger alcoholic drinks like re wine and white cider will see a small increase, in a bid to end the era of cheap high strength drink. I dont drink, what do you think those plans? |

I dont drink cos I am maintaining my 6pack, as I dont want to drink my calories. I prefer the calories to come from food instead |

Apparently not all of these changes would have been possible before when we were in the EU for some reason |
