You’re right, Yeah like most people, quite indifferent, only those who are super sensitive, like so sensitive that if a feather was in the vicinity of themselves would be so offended they would cry into their solo meal.

She was probably speaking from the heart or from the bottom of a bottle....someone mentioned that it was said at a closed party where the drink had flowed.
The question is, would her outburst attract more neutral voters to Labour or not?
The left may smile and applaud but we have seen that solely pleasing an element of any party doesn't guarantee electoral success.
Personally....the noise will calm in a few weeks and people will soon forget who said what. |

She was one of the leaders of the "be kind" campaign after Caroline Flack died. The hypocrisy is awful. This level of personal insults will put sensible people off politics, and then where do we end up? Who will run parish and county council's?! |

As a lifelong Tory I don't feel offended by her at all. I got called much worse on doorsteps during my activist days.
I actually think it's quite funny really.
That the best an opposition front bencher, with ambitions for the highest offices of state, can do is launch into a foul mouthed rant against her political opponents tells you everything you need to know about her.

The increase was a temporary measure as a response to Covid. It was never permanent and that was made clear at the time.
I think you should be applauding Boris for giving it in the first place.
