Arguing about what is 'Democratic' in a Party that is 121 years old?
Tinky Winky could run on a ticket of 'I like grass hills' and have more chance of winning than Labour.

A lot of internal issues they need to sort out all the phobias that seem rife.
The disciplinary process within the party is also puzzling at the moment they seem to be accusing members of all sorts and then withdrawing the accusations the next. Very strange.
It’s a bold strategy cotton. |

They're fucked. They're surplus to requirements in Scotland because they're not socialist enough. The English won't vote for them because they're not Tory enough - yet.
On top of all that, FPTP means they're going to need roughly 40% of the UK vote to gain even a slender majority in the HoC.
It's fucking pitiful. |

If the labour party honestly wanted the tories out, right now they would be better to disband and get the votes going to parties that are less self destructive. TBH, and it really pains me to admit this, if the tories dumped Johnson and all the current cabinet, and brought back someone like Ken Clarke with old fashioned Conservative views, then they might even get my vote if there was no other plausible alternative. Obviously while Johnson is in charge I'd rather cut my fingers off with a blunt butter knife. Starmer though seems utterly incapable of providing an adequate opposition, and the acceptance of the open transphobia of Rosie Duffield means that it is now impossible for me to vote for them. |
