Will the lower income groups bare the brunt of action, eg. Getting older cars off the road, higher penalties for less efficient things like cars central hesting, while selling expensive electric cars that some can't afford yet still allowing abundant air travel for the well off,

Needless waste of materials like Amazon throwing perfectly good stuff away ?

Plus! Trade deals with Australia! Sailing goods half way round the world when identical products can be sourced 20 30 50 miles away?

Going to be major changes for everyone to make.

The costs for this will be in the trillions, and thats just to standstill.

All the way from Goverment to individual, its going to be huge. Regrettably, the majority of mankind is selfish and expect the backlash to be just as huge.

If only the EU was only about trade and not a political entity with aspirations for far more then I am sure we still would have been trading with them.

Many are really going to struggle with the changes that will come and are going to need support, some people like myself rely on a car to get to and from work because public transport is just not available when I need it to suit my hours of work so I have no choice but to have a car. There needs to be some thought given in the differences of living in a city compared to rural areas.

We had a lot of clout in the EU so could have pushed back on the politics but a lot of our members like Farage didn’t spend anytime in the EU Parliament debating or working for our interests . He just ignored every debate and complained about wanting to leave. One agenda and that was his own. Maybe if he’d actually taken part the EU would have been better portrayed .

Shame also because the eu were good at pushing regulation through on cleaner trucks and cars along with taxing heavy polluting ships to the point they had to use scrubbers to clean emissions or use cleaner fuels.

All good for the environment.

Lost opportunity to work together . But Nigel's happy screaming fuck off you foreigners at desperate people in boats now . Again one agenda … his own.

Get used to it climate change is going to cost us all more, where will the revenue come from with the lost tax from fuel for a start?

Agree with you as regards Nigel and his stance, but I do feel we should be capable as a country of making our own laws and regs regarding emissions and climate without relying on the EU to do so. I also still believe there should be no reason why the EU and the UK cannot work together on climate change just because of Brexit, our trading relationship with them should have no bearing on this really.

I would also add i personally don't believe we had enough clout as you put it in the EU to push back against the political/federal union that the EU seems to be pushing for, it seems to be a case of this is what we are going to do and you either come along with it or we will make things difficult for you, you only have to look at there reactions to Swedish doubts to see a good example of this, in my opinion anyway.
