It was Hugh Janus. "

Yes there's one thing the blonde Baffoon can't do and that is tell the truth.
We're in the shit as a society when politicians are elected on their personality cult and not their record... |

"Be on even nodding terms with the truth?
Know how many children he has?
Answer a question?
Not give public money away to women he is banging behind his wifes back?"
Don’t think it really bothers people to be honest , the best fella & staff to deal with this pandemic , who would have known this was going to happen ? He was voted in democratically, some don’t like him a lot do like him that’s how it is , then you get the armchair politicians who say “ I would do this I would have done that differently “ etc etc . We should appreciate what we have & not what we haven’t got . I don’t think people realise just how dam lucky we are in the country we live in . Try visiting a autocratic / dictatorship country then perhaps people would appreciate what they do have |

If he was the best “fella” to deal with a worldwide health crisis, how by almost all measures has the U.K. had worse health and economic outcomes than its peers? I mean the entry of the (Indian) Delta variant alone is a good enough reason on its own to suggest that the guy is moronically incapable.
Do you not think that an honest person who had integrity and attention to detail might have done a somewhat better job? |

He appears to have problems keeping track of who pays for his Caribbean holidays / top quality furniture etc.
But no bother, because he carefully keeps track of (and controls) who is in charge of deciding whether his behaviour breaks any rules / codes etc. Surprisingly, it rarely does. |

You're bascally arguing Johnson's fine because he's not a dictator.
Erm... ok...
(Actually, he does seem to rather enjoy using certain dictator tactics. Lying. Corruption. Shutting down a government body when it opposes him. Silencing criticism in media. Avoiding scrutiny from media. Not giving a toss about the lives of his fellow citizens. Trying to deisenfranshise citizens. Flag-waving nationalism to distract from just how badly he is actually ruling.) |

Which leads to the question are the rules fit for purpose ? It appears not if his behaviour is all approved. |

So when something good happens we want to be seen as world-leading and/or world-beating and when something disastrous happens - we are just like everyone else??
Johnson and his cohorts have claimed from the very beginning of this pandemic that we would have world leading test and trace, the most secure borders, the best practice for care homes etc etc
However when, by absolute intent - he failed to close the border to India because he wanted to go there and then test and trace failed to isolate the cases that got here - well sorry but that is piss poor on every level.
Having the Delta variant in a country is one thing, but allowing it in intentionally and giving it the opportunity to run rampant because of a “not fit for purpose” test and trace system is just shit, it really is just shit. |

So you cant name countries that havent got the delta variant.
Every variant will get into every country, or always happens with viruses that are contagious, it makes no difference if you close borders but allow a few "special" cases in, the only way is to not allow a single person in, forever. |

Or you can manage your borders, let people in but keep them in hotels and if the virus does happen to escape use targeted local lockdowns to clean up. Works quite well apparently, for countries who don't favour culling their elderly and infirm, poor mental health for the young and fucked economies for all. |

I bet that if you asked him to touch his nose and his toes at the same time, he would fail that very simple task. |
