" It’s worrying, the UK numbers are low compared with our EU neighbours, France did 580,000 today, we are lagging for some reason. " Not to mention that our daily infection rates are far worse than our good friends in the EU

"I imagine the numbers are going down because there getting to younger people now.out ofthe people i know who have kids between 18-25 at least half of there kids aint aving the jab.even my oldest who is 29 says most of her freinds aint getting jabbed, shes been jabbed and some of her freinds have but she reakons more havent" Not sure , as there are millions who haven’t had their second jab, it’s worrying though, especially as the EU nations are doing so well now, they will be fully vaccinated before we will

" Unfortunately not, the rate has slowed considerably, the likes of Germany , France & Italy are doing far more vaccinations per day than we are , it’s good to see our friends in the EU have caught up after a slow start

"There always was an assumption that vaccine rollout would slow towards July. There has to be a minimum of 8 weeks between first and second doses, so that time factor is kicking in. There has also been a shortage of AZ coming from India, which hasn't helped. Anyone over 18yo can now get the vaccine, so if arms are coming forward, then they will get done. The only problem now, is the amount that refuse the vaccine. " Why are they refusing the vaccine?

"It is good to see our friends in the EU have sorted out their vaccine roll out but worrying that ours has slowed considerably " It will have. 2/3 of adults are fully vaccinated. Some won't be vaccinated and then there's the wait time in between jabs. It's perfectly normal that it has slowed down

"So another bit of force propaganda from the left. The stats for the UK. Percentage of people over the aga of 18. Wales - 1st dose 89%, second dose 62% Scotland - 1st dose 83%, second dose 59% England - 1st dose 83%, second dose 61% NI - 1st dose 79%, second dose 57%. Germany has seventeen states so the average for those is 1st dose 49.59%, second dose 28.83% They seem a long way behind the UK and hardly catching up." They are averaging 850,000 a day, UK 350,000 a day, it’s good to see our friends in the EU doing so well

Yes, the one day total is impressive, that is why it’s worrying that the numbers have dropped dramatically Not at all, the UK has less people to vaccinate now so getting high numbers daily is not possible. It has taken the Germans six months to reach the level of vaccinations that the UK achieved in only three months with a smaller population. Whatever way YOU try to paint it the Germans are way behind the UK vaccination programme and the Germans are playing catch up. If only the Germans had actually vaccinate people when they first received the vaccine and not just stored it and not used it they might be in a better position now. They are averaging 850,000 a day, impressive Trying to play catch up and reaching a level after six months it only took the UK three months to achieve. " Nearly 6 million a week, amazing really , especially as they are in the EU

Germany has seventeen states so the average for those is 1st dose 49.59%, second dose 28.83% They seem a long way behind the UK and hardly catching up. They are averaging 850,000 a day, UK 350,000 a day, it’s good to see our friends in the EU doing so well Germany's population is 16M more than the UK. They need to vaccinate a lot of people each day because they have only 1st dosed 50% of adults so far. The UK population is less and has 1st dosed over 80% of it population so far. Less people to vaccinated now. Germany are playing catch up and about time as well. Over twice as many per day, impressive Not really back in March the UK vaccinated 844,285 adults in one day. Considering the UK population is 16M less than Germany I would say that was impressive. Nearly 6 million a week, amazing really , especially as they are in the EU Amazing that their vaccination programme is so far behind the UK's. Being in the EU has obviously been no benefit what so ever and they are playing catch up. Come on ‘thumbs up Sandy’ don’t be bitter, they are doing a great job " Is 1st dose 49.59%, second dose 28.83% a great job?

Come on ‘thumbs up Sandy’ don’t be bitter, they are doing a great job Is 1st dose 49.59%, second dose 28.83% a great job? Stop being bitter, Stop giving out false information. Use the correct data. What is your source? According to Reuters Germany averaged over 800,000 vaccines a day in the last 7 days According to mathiasbynens that is not correct. I trust Reuters The rolling 7 day average for Germany is just shy of 800000 daily doses of vaccine given. Its quite a sharp uptick on the graph since the end of last year. Not over the 800,000 as claimed then. Like I said stop posting false information. What were the numbers that you claimed? Your very first post you claimed Germany were doing 800,000 a day. That has been proved to be incorrect. Just admit you first claim is wrong. Yes, it’s wrong, it averages just below 800,000 a day, where did you get your wildly inaccurate figures from? Finally you admit your claim as wrong.! I've already said where my figures are from and they are correct. They are incorrect, anyway, let’s applaud Germany for their amazing vaccine roll out figures, we can all agree they are very impressive My figures are correct for the days listed. Taken direct form Germany. Germany started their vaccination program two weeks after the UK and you can see by the percentages of 1st dose and 2nd dose they are playing catch up with the UK. If only they had vaccinated their population with high numbers when they first had the vaccination and not just stored it and not used it. Yesterday Germany had 4 times as many deaths than the UK with 30 times less new positive cases. This proves the point Germany should have vaccinated more people months earlier than they now are. Germany administered 976,000 vaccine doses yesterday , remarkable " why are you so positive about the EU yet so negative about tne U.K. bud ?

Germany administered 976,000 vaccine doses yesterday , remarkable Indeed, however if they had administered that many from their 1st day of their vaccination programme Germany would be fully vaccinated now. But as we can see from the data they have 19k active cases and 736 on the critical list. The UK has 347k active cases but only 283 on the critical list. The data shows having a better and faster vaccination program the link between have the virus and becoming seriously ill has been broken by the world beating vaccination programme by the UK. Germany is frantically playing catch up now to achieve the same results the UK has. Amazing figures, and they have had over 35,000 less people die from COVID than the UK and they managed all this whilst being in the EU. And warnings this week that the EU will see a forth wave of covid-19 late in the Summer. The UK are unfortunately already in a new and worrying covid ‘wave’ The rolling 7 day death average for Germany is 46.43. The UK's is 16.14. Worring times for Germany hence why they are frantically trying to play catch up with their vaccination programme. Nearly 6 million a week, amazing really , especially as they are in the EU Amazing that their vaccination programme is so far behind the UK's. Being in the EU has obviously been no benefit what so ever and they are playing catch up. That is very worrying indeed, if only they had vaccinated their population quicker.! 90,000 compared with 130,000 deaths , average daily deaths double from the start of the month, delta variant rampant, Heath secretary breaking COVID rules and resigning , the UK deserves better , we should take advice and learn from our Germans friends It obvious that the fact the UK has had a far better vaccination programme than the EU really annoys you. Faced with the data you still can not admit the UK has done a better job in vaccinating it population than any EU country. The UK hadn't had 130k it's 128k. Germany is 91.5K. I did notice you rounded the UK's number up and Germany's down though. More false information from you. Becoming a habit of yours isn't it! Nit picking, over 35,000 more deaths and the UK has a smaller population, if only we had been more like the Germans However the UK are now doing better than the Germans and you still fail to praise the UK for a world beating vaccination program. You clearly have a hatred towards the UK for some reason. No hatred, I want the best for the UK, Germany have proved we can do much better, maybe you are happy to settle for mediocrity Your version of best is not what I would regards as best for the UK. Thankfully your version of best did not win the last four General Elections. What has the GE election got to do with anything? Your clutching at straws now, here are the facts, the uk have a smaller population than Germany yet have had 35,000 more deaths, why? And why are you happy to accept this? You will be blaming labour and Corbyn next " I'd like to know the reason for that too...
Nearly 6 million a week, amazing really , especially as they are in the EU Amazing that their vaccination programme is so far behind the UK's. Being in the EU has obviously been no benefit what so ever and they are playing catch up. Nearly 6 million a week, amazing really , especially as they are in the EU Amazing that their vaccination programme is so far behind the UK's. Being in the EU has obviously been no benefit what so ever and they are playing catch up. 25,000 cases a day and increasing, nearly 130,000 deaths and increasing, delaying the date of the ‘unlock’ , delta variant rampant , worrying So the infection rate was lower but the death rate high that would be extremely worrying wouldn't it? Hold up Germany's dayly infection rate is 30 times lower than the UK's but their daily death rate is 4 times higher. You will be blaming labour and Corbyn next You appear to be going off topic and neglecting the fact the UK is currently doing better than Germany with current deaths and serious ill cases. The data would suggest because the UK has a world beating vaccination program the link between infections and deaths is being broken. Well done to the UK." 35,000 more deaths, Germany did 950, 000 vaccines yesterday , UK less than half that number, why?

They need to vaccinate a lot of people each day because they have only 1st dosed 50% of adults so far. The UK population is less and has 1st dosed over 80% of it population so far. Less people to vaccinated now. Germany are playing catch up and about time as well. Over twice as many per day, impressive Not really back in March the UK vaccinated 844,285 adults in one day. Considering the UK population is 16M less than Germany I would say that was impressive. Nearly 6 million a week, amazing really , especially as they are in the EU Amazing that their vaccination programme is so far behind the UK's. Being in the EU has obviously been no benefit what so ever and they are playing catch up. You will be blaming labour and Corbyn next Just out of interest as you seem so obsesed with the covid death figures do you know how each country counts their covid deaths? " No, do you?
"So the Evening Standard tonight has the UK as. 84.9% 1st dose. 62.4% 2nd dose. And over 129,000 deaths?? Wrong again. 128,162 is the official number." And over 128,000 deaths

"How honest are we? The only country in the world who counts the covid figures honestly. I suppose when you have such a bastion of integrity and honesty running the country, its only to be expected. Btw has Alex mentioned today that we have vaccinated more people than isarel?" I truly believe when all the numbers are crunched the U.K. will be no difference t to most other countries and I’m not sure others have counted any deaths in the last 28 days tested positive
"How honest are we? The only country in the world who counts the covid figures honestly. I suppose when you have such a bastion of integrity and honesty running the country, its only to be expected. Btw has Alex mentioned today that we have vaccinated more people than isarel?" I should imagine he is right as there are only about 9 million people in Israel

This current Tory government are renowned for their honesty so it’s perfectly acceptable that out COVID death numbers will be the most accurate in the world
