to a country with a government which is less diabolical than the UK.
Russia is a completely obvious choice.
Even North Korea could be in with a chance. |

"You won’t find a greater country than this one but good luck anyway "
I understand what you are saying, but if that is the case, how come Harry & Meghan didn't just buy a 3 bed semi in Peterborough?
As Matt would say, life is all about making what you want of life, and fuck to the laws. |

In this country like many the government's and PM's come and go. Some are ok some not ok but none last forever. In the country's you are considering your stuck with it regardless of what the people want |

Correct. That is why I fear the major minority. More than 50% of people in the UK already don't want Boris. |

Seems if that's the case and voters act in the same way your emigration would not be the best solution especially to the places you mention. If though your mind is made up then best of luck |

You could try France. That huge patriot Andrew Neil likes living there. |

If that's what you think and that's what you do, I would consider you a person of principle. Not many stand by their principles! |

Obviously not people of principle. Unlike the op if he does what he's considering. Have to admire those with principles and stick to them. |

If I'd known how good New Zealand is when I was younger (and hadn't been in a job I would have been crazy to let go) I would have got away then.
Now I'm too old for them to want me.
Fantastic place to live and lots of really good second hand true RHD Japanese cars and vans instead of the bodged LHD to RHD vehicles foisted on us by the EU and now accepted as the standard here for ever and ever. |

Vancouver Island is supposed to be quite good also.
ps I'm never quite sure which side to drive on. |

Been to Vancouver mainland and island twice as well as New Zealand twice.
Until I went to New Zealand, Vancouver was my ideal emigration destination. People mostly polite and considerate, unlike modern day Britain. Driving civilised with rules that make sense. Climate tolerable. I couldn't do anywhere in Canada which has serious winters. Vancouver Island and adjacent mainland coast beautiful but sea freezed my bollocks off. slightly less so in shallows on East side but Pacific Ocean was an ordeal. I was fooled by lovely surf.
I also like parts of the West Indies (again a huge choice of excellent Japanese used vehicles available). However, I couldn't live anywhere seriously that doesn't get long summer daylight hours. West Indies great for escaping our winters, though.
I thank my lucky stars I was born speaking English and had a good British education. An inestimable boon. No wonder so many want to come and live here.
