I think it's even more interesting that it's implied this whole dreadful banning is a result of modern evil wokeness. But many people have been aware Blyton's work had problems for many years.

I just looked on my Essex Library Services app. Should I care to reserve an Enid book, there were about 35 web pages of them in the catalog...

How many do you suggest they should have in stock?
To fight the war against woke, every household needs to have 2 flags and 5 Blyton books. It's the only way to be safe.

Which government is it that has caused local councils to have to strip back all of their services (libraries included)?

Which is more to the point, most kids today would not want to read these books."
Kids minds have been poisoned against the good old fashioned roistering boistering adventures.
Saying some bits of Essex have the books... Great. Many bits don't. Unless you can drive a few miles hunting them out. |

That is really as daft as saying they don't watch those great Errol Flynn films anymore...
It's a central service, it covers all Essex. It saves every library having to duplicate their stock of books. It's called efficiency. You only have to wait a day or so... |

You can buy them all from Amazon, they will deliver literally anywhere, cheap as well |
