As things reopen, I won't have as much time in future to post my insights on the politics forum.
If you need clarification on any issues, sooner is better than later, just fire your questions this way |

Why is 1.17 to 1.17 over 9 weeks a rise in the value of the pound?
We never got to the bottom of that claim that you made. |

You're just taking an arbitrary time period to suit your argument, over 18 weeks the trend is extremely encouraging |

Autocorrected, I meant the Yard as in Yard with yardarms on it. And also those pulley block things are in mahogany as well. |

To be fun at parties do you have to believe that 1.17 is greater than 1.17?

Not from people that believe that 1.17 is a significant increase from 1.17.

Fly presumably.
I have a Norwegian friend who does the same thing. He pitches to deliver any sailing boat from location A to location B even if it means flying to A and then flying home from B.
He was back to back sailing from the Med to the U.K. last six months of 2019 as U.K. boat owners feared losing their VAT paid status. |

"Is there a prize for the worst thread ever?
Not everything can be gold, even by me.
Trouble is when the usual arguments about Brexit and the Empire have been won, what to talk about? "
That is true.
You have managed to troll yourself hard and lose every argument you started.
Apart from your phobia of people who aren't racist, you've been very entertaining. |

Was checking the veracity of the 18 week claim (the increase holds water, but it is certainly easy to chose other, shorter, periods which are less helpful to the argument) and right underneath the graph I saw this:
"With the coronavirus pandemic, continued frustrations over Brexit and the UK suffering the biggest economic recession amongst major economies, most bank analysts predict the Pound Sterling will continue to be under pressure in 2021."
Source: https://www.exiap.com/forecasts/british-pound-gbp-forecast-2021
Just as well people on this forum are much cleverer than bank analysts, or we would be tricked into thinking all was not well with our great government.

"1.4 by June". Was your prediction
We'd need an inverse Brexit for a jump like that in the next few weeks.
But sure, if 1.17 to 1.17 is a rise worth celebrating. Then who knows! |

I'm pretty sure I would use the yawn icon if I was so catastrophically wrong all the time too.
Still it adds the the persona. |
