Wrong man for the job in my opinion, I never could see him succeeding as leader of Labour to be honest, he was too involved with the previous Labour cabinet and his stance on brexit was always going to piss more red wall voters off and not get them bk, and without there vote I cannot see any road bk to power for Labour for a very long time.

I'm not too sure there are many pro leave labour big guns around?

He is good at pmq but he lacks charisma and passion.

Well you didn't have a pro-leaver before SKS did you. So maybe you will just have to take who you've got - or just let them vote Conservative.

No i don't think there was, but somebody not so tainted by pushing for a second vote would have been a better choice. Yes he is precise at pmqs, but you would expect that from a barrister, but as you say he lacks charisma and passion, overall a bit dull I feel.

Is that the only choice? Vote Labour or Conservative.

Thankfully we have other options. Voting for these two parties is not compulsory.

North Bucks

Was reading Andy Burnhams interview yesterday. Smart choice not wanting to throw his name in until after the next general election.

Who would want to take control of the current dumpster fire of a party.

This. I would be very surprised if he went anywhere near it until Labour totally implode and reform (it's a matter of opinion where that is exactly right now lol) As very often the reformer doesn't get to be the one held up to lead any party into power.

In reality. Yes. It is the only choice if you want a serving government from all the parties available.

You Labour people just do not get it do you.

Labour wants to force PC and there ideas down are throat.

The majority do not want this,we want to decide our future,we want to be free we want no EU less government control on our lives.

Your living in a pre 1939 world full of idealistic crap and it caused a big war a very big war.

As a nation we have fought against this weather it be Hitler or the EU and won.Fought against communism and winning up to now and must continue to do so.

Even the Romans gave up trying to enforce there rules on us.

Freedom and democracy allways and until labour realises this they will be in trouble whoever leads them.

I keep seeing Andy Burnham's name pop up and he certainly has a lot of support. As he has just been elected mayor I think it would be a bit of a kick in the teeth to those in Manchester that just voted for him as I think he would have to give that job up. I heard him on newscast saying he is not even an MP so not likely to happen anytime soon. Does anyone know if Labour party rules allow a non MP to be leader like in the conservative party?
