Brussels abandons any deal with China (9 years of wining and dining come to nothing) and now turns to.... India! Yikes!
Mumbai is not quite up to their usual food and hotel standard, tough times for the commission.
“The EU is suspending plans for a trade deal with China, while reviving those for a pact with India, in a dispute on Chinese human-rights abuses.
"We now, in a sense, have suspended … political outreach activities from the European Commission side," on ratification of the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI), EU trade commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis told the AFP news agency”

I beg to differ, I've been to that Taj Hotel near the Gateway of India British Empire Arch, its really not up to their standards. Very short of Mouton Rothschild in particular and clarets generally, and God knows where the lobster came from.
