"JERSEY’S largest oyster producer says he stands side-by-side with aggrieved French fishermen and will even support a potential 'peaceful' port blockade – if it goes ahead....
The government went out there and told them “don’t worry – as long as you have fished for ten days in 2017, 2018 or 2019 then you will be given a licence and can carry on”. But on Friday afternoon the licences were issued with all these conditions attached. It came to Monday morning and some could not go fishing...
It has also only been attached to French vessels, not Jersey’s, and under the rules of the Trade and Economic Co-operation Agreement both sides have got to be treated fairly. The government has left us wide open to facing an international disaster..."
NONE of this was necessary, particularly now that we hear that the French are now responding in kind and sending one of their warships.
Brexit fanatics and their desire wank furiously whilst draped in a union flag are traitors to this great nation of ours and should be ashamed of themselves.

Dishonest you say?
As per the article... "JERSEY’S largest oyster producer says..."
How dishonest is it to sign an agreement in good faith and renege on it at the first opportunity?
As per the article... "under the rules of the Trade and Economic Co-operation Agreement both sides have got to be treated fairly."
So where is the dishonesty and lack of integrity? On which side does it lie?
Do you think it Remnainer's fault that UK shellfish exporters can no longer sell their produce in the EU? Do you think it is Remainer's fault that many, many food exporters can no longer sell competitively in the EU? Do you think it is Remainer's fault that N Ireland is about to get a new hardline DUP Leader who will become a ROYAL pain the ass to the UK Government? Do you think it is Remainer's fault that tensions have already massively risen in N Ireland? Do you think it is Remainer's fault that UK cod fishermen can no longer fish in waters they have fished for decades?
The lies and dishonesty seem to be coming very much from one side and it ain't the Remainer side because NONE of this necessary - NONE OF IT. |

"I hope we stay strong and if the French navy enters our waters we confiscate there ships etc time to do what is right."
So you are now countenancing WAR? It's not economically catastrophic enough that UK exports to the EU have collapsed, now you want a war to support a Brexit ideology that is nothing more than a wankfest of flag shaggers. |

You need to have a word with your expert professor friends again.
The red ensign is a civilian flag flown from merchant ships and pleasure craft. The Royal Navy flies the Royal Navy White Ensign sometimes called the Battle Ensign.

That's the problem with armchair admirals and generals. All our ships would end up flying the wrong flags and would be sunk as suspected spy vessels. |

"Keeps eye on BAE share price"
BAE? Nah, shares in MBDA (37.5% BAE, 37.5% Airbus and 25% Leonardo) guarantee win-win. Don’t forget, just like in the Falkland wars, opposing forces often find themselves using the same equipment, for example our Type 45 destroyers are using the same French missiles as their FREMM multi-purpose frigates.
And to pre-empt the “yeah, but they’re only frog-eating surrender monkeys” posts, just who exactly “ran away” at Dunkirk and who had 18,000 men killed and 35,000 captured, holding the Germans at bay while they did so? |

The key is in the word "pleasure craft"
And according to my mate Commodore Parry of the RYS, it is also acceptable to fly it on land, particularly on Merchant Navy Day, if your boat is in for repairs.
As I say, have to get up pretty early in the morning to catch me out. |

Your own sloop... really???
Here's a guess that you would not know the difference between a sloop, a ketch and a cutter.
How can I be sure???....
Well, considering that almost all pleasure yachts are sloop-rigged these days, no-one ever refers to their boat as a sloop - it just goes without saying - unless you specify it to be different - ie a ketch or a cutter rig.
So, once again - a dismal failure...
at least a stopped clock is right twice a day. |

If you care to hang on to every word, it pays to be accurate.
Voters who cast their vote in a local election as a comment on National politics ARE STUPID.
Voters who cast their vote in favour of an emotive cause and who are not prepared to consider the real-time consequences of such a vote ARE STUPID .
Clearly, ALL voters are not stupid - unfortunately, lot's seem to be. |

And just to add to the TOTAL made-up nature of your post - you would NEVER fly your country of register flag forward.
It flies exclusively from the stern.
The only thing you would fly from a forward position would be a crest, an emblem or an Association flag.
For example if you are Member of the
"I make shit up all the time and try to look clever on an anonymous sex site" Club, and they had a flag. You could fly that from a forward position as long as its dimensions were not greater than any courtesy flag that you might be flying from a halyard. |

No, my transom is very small, and any sheet will interfere with my marlin fishing setup, the regulation is as sternwards as possible, nothing wrong with my positioning. |

"I hope we stay strong and if the French navy enters our waters we confiscate there ships etc time to do what is right.
Haha, confiscate their ships??
Of course..
And if they refuse we should give them a stern look..

You need to have a word with your expert professor friends again.
The red ensign is a civilian flag flown from merchant ships and pleasure craft. The Royal Navy flies the Royal Navy White Ensign sometimes called the Battle Ensign.
I didn’t say otherwise. I am flying the red ensign from the forecastle of my sloop this afternoon, as should you.
I don’t own an RN Frigate, so why would I fly a white ensign.?
You don’t own a merchants ship so why are you flying a red ensign?
The key is in the word "pleasure craft"
And according to my mate Commodore Parry of the RYS, it is also acceptable to fly it on land, particularly on Merchant Navy Day, if your boat is in for repairs.
As I say, have to get up pretty early in the morning to catch me out.
Just to clarify, you don’t own a merchant ship or a pleasure craft? Btw, merchant navy day is on 3rd September "

Evidently not
Some people are stupid though. Others are liars and others are so dumb they don't even understand the concept of exchange rates.
I bet there are even people who fit all of those categories lol
So. Do tell me what I said about exchange rates that was wrong?"
Well, it actually starts with the most fundamental understanding of what currency is and how currency is valued internally and on world markets.
You appear to be under the impression that the figure of £1 is an international reference point and that any currency that has a greater 'numerical' value than 1 in comparison, is weaker than the pound and therefore by default, any currency that has a lesser 'numerical' value than 1 in comparison would be stronger.
The level of misunderstanding at just that level suggests that you cannot even go the next level of how a currency is valued and what happens when the £GBP is taken out of the equation.
Broadly speaking, the Euro has never been weaker than it is today in fundamental terms. Yet in the markets, this is not reflected in its position against the pound as it has strengthened since 2016. This is because exchange rates are impacted not necessarily by the strength (or weakness) of the reference currency - but by the strength and/or weakness of the currency being compared. For example, GBP could strengthen against some currencies and weaken against others and a far deeper examination of the reasons are needed to understand why and that involves researching each currency pairing.
Broadly speaking - an exchange rate strength is like a pulse. Too slow (low) and too fast (high) are both unfavorable and at the moment (and since 2016) UK exchange rates have been too low, this being most evident by its performance against the EURO (which itself is weak - but cot compared to GBP) and to the USD. |

What!
Brexit is great, so many upsides. For a start we've got some slogans like "take back control", and "get brexit done". If that's not enough for you, we crashed the value of the pound, which sounds bad I know, but we can celebrate tiny increases now.
So forget all the extra red tape, more expensive imports, job losses, business closures, loss of freedoms, problems with a border in the Irish sea, problems caused to the fishing industry, still having to obey EU regulations while not having a say in them and these kind of issues with France and Norway.
Just keep saying "taking back control" to yourself all day, and everything will be fine. |

Roman maybe?
Flavius Valentinianus died and ceased being emperor of the western Roman Empire around this date in AD 392.
Not sure what this has to go with the great brexit success of being able to celebrate sterling be so low in value that a 0.5p increase is celebrated wildly. |

You need to explain in simple language
They need to spend 1.6 euros to buy £1

So if you spend £1 in Europe you can buy nearly 2 euros worth of goods |
