The new targets are a fantastic sign.
Will be very interested in the plan to achieve this. |

One of the ways is to get rid of all gas boilers etc in homes, but how many will be able to afford to pay or the leccy?
Electric cars are all very well but your going to need more ways to charge them at lower costs to the consumer how they are going to do this when there are loads who do not have driveways.

I agree, they look amazing on paper, I haven’t seen much detail on how they can be achieved, |

It didn’t work very well for Uri Geller. How does positive thinking charge your electric car if you don’t have a drive way ? |

The uk has already cut its coal for energy consumption from 25% to 1.2% in the last 5 years. A good start in my book and with projects like the Faraday battery challenge amongst others they are at least heading in the right direction.

Climate change virtue waving is all well and good. The reality is though, unless we as a whole world stop fishing and polluting our oceans it will all be in vein. It won't be how much CO2 we put into the atmosphere that actually matters. What will matter is how much CO2 is put into our oceans by over fishing and pollution. Once the ocean's die, the planet will die, end of. |

I'm not sure this is accurate.
Overfishing and pollution doesn't put CO2 into the ocean.

I've seen it. And you're statements are still misleading.
I'm not suggesting that the ocean isn't an important part of the picture. But overfishing and pollution is unrelated to Oceanic CO2 levels.

The UK could cut carbon emission to zero tomorrow and it won't alter a thing in terms of the environment globally. Now if China, America, Germany, India, Japan and numerous other countries did the same at the same time then it would be a different ball game. Yes we can all hope they'll emulate the UK but I have a feeling that they won't and we'll impose huge extra costs on already hard pressed families and companies whilst giving an ecobomic advantage to our international competitors.

This is what the Paris climate accord is for.
And it is possible to do this without a burden on the economy. |

We can give you lots of examples of lies Boris said. Here's a random one:
On customers border:
"There will be no checks between Great Britain and Northern Ireland".
Do you have an example of a lie told be a "remoaner"? |

"Legitimate" and "binding" have different meanings.
To reiterate, the lie that you think an unspecified "remoaner" told, is not a lie. |

What makes these people "remoaners", and can you direct me with links or how to find their quotes saying these things you're alleging?
In any case. I asked this question to another forum user who asserted that Boris doesn't lie, and that "remoaners" do.
Thus far there has been a lot of waffle and no actual examples. It's not even that interesting, other than to highlight that Boris does tell a lot of lies. |

That the referendum "wasn't binding" was an absolute corker, still chortling about that one
The referendum was not legally binding.
So whichever "remoaner" you're referring to, wasn't lying in this instance.
You voted in it and helped legitamize it. Congrats you played yourself.
(It obviously was legitimate regardless but I'm just pointing out the salty tears upon losing)
"Legitimate" and "binding" have different meanings.
To reiterate, the lie that you think an unspecified "remoaner" told, is not a lie.
"legally binding" has a slightly different meaning, let me check...
Ah I didn't say that.
Important to be precise yes?
In any case. The referendum wasn't binding.
So your example of a lie told by an unspecified "remoaner", is in fact, not a lie.
We will agree to disagree.
How about the lie that leave voters are racist, or more racist than remainers?
Why are we disagreeing? It's not a lie to say the referendum wasn't binding. It wasn't binding.
Which "remoaner" said this about leave voters?
Shaun Gunning, James Hutchins etc
What makes these people "remoaners", and can you direct me with links or how to find their quotes saying these things you're alleging?
In any case. I asked this question to another forum user who asserted that Boris doesn't lie, and that "remoaners" do.
Thus far there has been a lot of waffle and no actual examples. It's not even that interesting, other than to highlight that Boris does tell a lot of lies."
Oh come off it
"Lord Cooper, a strategist for David Cameron.
Lord Cooper is quoted as saying: “Brexit is a proxy for one’s view of the modern world: are you nationalist or internationalist, positive about immigration, diversity and multiculturalism or do you feel those things are a threat?”
Ironically this sort of rubbish resulted in a lot of racist abuse thrown at ethnic minority leave voters by remainers. Boroughs like Haringey had a majority of a BAME voters for leave. |

"Will upset the anti Johnson mob disproves another lie the have come up with
Which lie was that? As you say so many you cannot remember.
That he did not care about the enviorment but as Mayor of London he proved otherwise,he has allways been concerned
I agree, Boris has told soo many lies I can’t keep up No you remoaners have all you do is twist and lie
We can give you lots of examples of lies Boris said. Here's a random one:
On customers border:
"There will be no checks between Great Britain and Northern Ireland".
Do you have an example of a lie told be a "remoaner"?

Is Lord Cooper "Shaun Gunning" or "James Hutchins"? What happened to that point, have you dropped it with the "referendum wasn't binding is a lie" point?
And what are you saying here? This quote has nothing to do with "How about the lie that leave voters are racist, or more racist than remainers?"
This was your third try to demonstrate that "Remoaners" tell lies. Lets just knock it on the head yeah! My question was aimed at the person who made the initial claim. Maybe they'll have more luck.

So whichever "remoaner" you're referring to, wasn't lying in this instance.does it matter one jot now no it doesn’t it’s gone wether you think it was unfair based in lies or not
I'm not commenting on the lies that brexit was based on.
Someone above suggested that Boris doesn't lie and that "remoaners" tell lies. I just asked for and example.
Seems reasonable to me. lol aw we all tell lies sometimes remainers no more no less than leavers but no one lies as good as politicians tho
I agree. Seemed bonkers to me that someone genuinely thinks Boris doesn't lie." yes but Boris only lies when he moves his lips to be fair tho lol |

Nothing to do with the EU. This was Boris's brexit deal.
In any case, whoever "wants" it, does not transform Boris's lie, into the truth. |
