Bit why they can go there own way on things like free prescriptions and free university for example

Notice that no one has mentioned yet the 4% they are getting north of the border would not be such a big deal if the government south of the border had not renegged on the final year of a legally binding pay agreement... but this government doesn’t really do abiding by their own agreements well........

The three year 9% deal has just expired.

Not a bad pitch from Nic at 4% and 5.4% respectively.

Maybe just maybe the Scottish government appreciates the tireless work the NHS staff have done in horrific circumstances over the past year.

They may also not be hypocritical liars who are willing to lavish praise & applause on those who risked their lives caring for the rest of us when it suited them but suddenly become unable to reward them with a decent living payrise when it came to the crunch.

Just a thought...

The “wall” lies entirely within England.

0.6 mi (1.0 km) south of the border with Scotland in the west at Bowness-on-Solway, in the east at Wallsend it is as much as 68 miles (109 km) away.

So either scotland has been occupying England or England has cast free all those North of the wall.

If England send big piles of money north, to support us poor poor scots, why are WM so determined to keep Scotland in thr Union?

Tories will joteably not spend 1p unless they are making a % in their own pockets. therefore this belief that England subsidises Scotland, wales or N.I is instantaneously provable as false, no matter what the MSM tells us.

Hadrian’s Wall marked the boundary between Roman Britannia and unconquered Caledonia to the north. The wall lies entirely within England and has never formed the Anglo-Scottish border.
