If he was talking about uk success a very stupid thing to say but if he was talking about phara companies then i think he has it spot on. As usual people depending on their political affiliation will believe what one suites them. |

"What a stupid thing to say. But still much less stupid than the things that are said here every day.
"
If he had left the word greed out not an eye lid would be batted. Bumbling Boris does it again.
Greed is good. (Name the film) |

I kinda meant to say that in our current context and with regard to a very sensitive EU - and there have been as many stupid things said by lots of them - it doesn't score right on the diplomacy 101 scale. |

Who invited the EU Commissioners to the private 1922 Committee meeting? |

Take your pick - I dare say there are a few Conservative MPs who would happily pile on some trouble for the PM.
All very unbecoming, if you ask me |

It was stupid and a bad joke as the Astra Zenica jab is non profit making anyway. It is the jab to save the world as so easily transported.
Boris has an odd sense of humour and should think before he speaks sometimes |

He is in a Class of 1 for twat of the year. Astra Zeneca & Oxford are producing the virus pretty much at cost. If this was genuinely an attempt at greed then it would be £500 a shot! In terms of Capitalism, again bullshit - governments including our own invested in the R&D, working with University’s and Health Departments.
You could more effectively argue this is an example of a hybrid social capitalism using the right skills from the right places for the common good. This is probably why he is worried, it wasn’t about greed or capitalism |
