"For the new ‘briefing room’ at No 10? And would you have given the contracts to British owned companies?
Nothing waste of money a load of nonesense"
Your hero Boris must have authorised it, don’t you think it was a wise investment? |

" I would leave a quality surveyor to do the calculations. This is their area of expertise. |

I once got quoted £ 125,000 & £180,000 for the exact same extension by 2 quality builders who assured me that this was their area of expertise |

"I believe a lot of the cost is in the communications equipment that had to be installed.
But there has to be greater accountability on how public money is spent. "

it seems such a extortionately high sum for a very low make-over and the tech costs would be nominal to link that room to the existing intra-net for the building that there's a probability that the current trend of links between the contracting company and government will out soon enough |

I'm sure that questions will be asked why Interserve sub-contracted the work to Megahertz. Lets hope the relevant Ministers have the right answers! |

I would make a short list of countries to ask to bid for the work:
1. Russia
2. China
3. North Korea
4. Iran
5. Venezuela
All sensible, democratic, friends of the UK.
I mean, who wouldn’t choose one of these countries to put together a secure comms & AV facility for the head of our Govt...
If Corbyn had done this, the Tory attack dogs would have been all over him... |
