first they took weeks too long to approve vaccines that the whole of the eu was waiting for and now they are saying there is no reason to stop using the oxford vaccine and most of the eu are ignoring that advice.Its farcical

The message that Germany and france sent out at the beginning not to use it on older people has caused a lot of Europeans to not trust it, this will go even further to breed the mistrust i think.Its a shame the people have to suffer for political reasons.

The uptake (of people saying they would not take a vax) was already low in France before all of this. This has done far more damage than the French could possibly know. Macron has backtracked at least already.

In the Netherlands about half of the population said they weren't having it - and now they have 'temporarily' banned its use.

Europe will be very much longer into a third, perhaps even fourth wave.

This could be a potential problem for holidays in Europe this year, they have cut vaccinations at a time when a new wave is hitting them and if they dont get it sorted soon i can see brits not being allowed to travel to those countries.
