Whilst the chancellor never raised fuel duty in the budget, the government won't tell you they didn't need to ... as fuel is expected to go up to 1.40 a litre in the summer.
At the moment it's around 1.25 and going up ... reason is tensions between Saudi and Iran, mix in profiteering and speculative investment etc |

Possible, as plastic and by products of fuel are going through the roof as well. Demand will go up and so the prices, except inflation to go up as well ...
