Why is conversion therapy still not illegal in the U.K. ?
I really do not understand why this still goes on and why our country has not banned and prosecuted people over this barbaric practice!  |

Rolf if I get called woke then so be it 
But I still don’t see why the government has not done this yet as they said they were going to and now 3 house members have stepped down over this now and it’s still an issue.
I wonder just who they think they would offend by banning it and making it illegal because I don’t know anyone who does not think it’s wrong.

tbh I don’t know anyone who thinks it’s wrong or right it’s never come up in a conversation just ban religion and jobs done for me |

Prob because its usually religious nuts who carry this sort of nonsense out.and no matter what party is in power they tend to not like trying to tell god freaks whats right and wrong.just amazes me that in 2021 people belive you can make someone not gay. |

Nobody sane has ever even mentioned it as a thing.
As a legal expert, you could never prove what any sort of therapy involved, that could pass a statute bar.
If someone was cooerced into such therapy there are other laws that would cover it anyway. |
