Charles Michel, president of the European Council, accused Britain of having an export ban on Covid jabs, flatly denied.
Asked whether the EU commission supported Michael's comments, spokesman Eric Mamer said:
"We have a policy of not commenting on other people's comments"

Think you’re missing the very important point that they can afford it!
They adopted the bankrupt East Germany and still out performed us . We would have gone running to the IMF again to be bailed out if we’d had to do the same.
Lucky for us we only have the Isle of Wight to worry about.

the point is their economy is heavily reliant on one area, car production, anything happens to that market they are hit hard. I cant see into the future like some on here, but if public transport and electric bikes take over the world no one will be in a porsche.. well eu leaders with private jets might... but isnt the drive towards car-less societies? |

Why, you can already buy electric BMWs, Audis, Porsches, Mercedes
Audi delayed production by six months as they couldn't get the batteries and their boss publically stated they were two or three years behind Tesla.
BMW almost abandoned electric, not developing the I3 although they maybe changing their mind (too late) now.
Porsche has a pretty dull first effort, and I've never seen one electric Merc at all yet.
It's not looking good for Germany sadly.

the point is their economy is heavily reliant on one area, car production, anything happens to that market they are hit hard. I cant see into the future like some on here, but if public transport and electric bikes take over the world no one will be in a porsche.. well eu leaders with private jets might... but isnt the drive towards car-less societies?
