"What exactly is the point of Energy Supply Companies? They own no infrastructure, build no infrastructure, hold no gas reserves and own no rigs or gas extraction systems. They simply bill consumers and take a cut. It seems like energy supply companies are a pointless layer of waste whose existence is solely to go into competition with other energy supply companies whilst providing no discernible benefit to consumers. If ever there was a reason to have a simple, single billing entity - surely energy supply must fit that bill? Why have so many companies doing virtually the same thing other than trying to steal each other’s customers once a month." I do agree! But what really pisses me off is the standing charge for the meter for them to sell it to me ![]() | |||
